Hi

First of all thank you for your work. This rom is great
I people talk about the stuttering after an hour but I Haven't noticed anything yet. My issue is the system bar. Tried everything to get it back. Can you please help? Would love to get that working. By the way is this the ouya xbmc? Cheers

Additional Dirs /mnt

Firstly I would like to say what a great ROM and I use it on a daily basis. I have a small problem where I cant seem to create any additional dirs in /mnt for my NFS shares.

I remount / as rw either via shell or root file manager, create the directory etc and when I reboot anything I created in /mnt has disappeared.

Is there any way I can add some folders to the /mnt directory within the ROM

In relation to the video stuttering I did watch a film last night and have some visual artefacts appear towards the end of the film.

please test and post back if statter after 90 min of video playback is working for you.
the download will go thru the add so just click "skip" in right top corner to proced to download.
you can install it on top of older ver without lousing your settings.

Can anyone comfirm that the stuttering is fix?. I love this rom, but not the stuttering after 90 minutes.

Too bad. New justXBMC version still stuttering after about 60 minutes. But isn't this an issue with all the latest libstagefright builds?

Hello Lewy,

Do you know when we are able to test v1.2 of your ROM? I would love to test it..
and another question, are you it also possible in this 1.2 version to easily swith between 1080p kernel and 720p kernel (like the Hybrid Firmware you made).
And what kernel and boot do you use (is it made by Finless/ PHjanderson)?

ps is it possible the we make a different tread for the xbmc.apk, because now the discussion gets clouded.

Most features work on T428

Hola Lewy,Thanks for the great ROM. I was looking for a ROM to run XBMC on my T428 when I came across a thread in the T428 forum saying the Minix X7 used the same hardware as the T428 and the Minix 7 ROM's were compatable. I have my T428 running with your justXBMC ROM for a few days now and I really like it! It loads way more of the XBMC content than others and plays most of my files. I added V Player and Wonderplayer to be sure. I miss the "Home Bar" as others have mentioned. If possible, Can you please tell us how to restore this feature? I have not been able to get Ethernet working using the USB to Ethernet adapter that came shipped with my T428. When I plug in it reboots into bootloop. It does work with other ROMs. Can you or some one else confirm Ethernet is working with justXBMC ROM on the T428? Best AnTuTu score for me 20925 !!!!! Yeah!!!!!

Any ETA on that new version on JustXBMC? And does it fix the shuddering after an hour? Will XBMC be the launcher? I really hope this will be complete, since when this fixes have been meet I'm very happy since then my X7 is like i want it!

I have been using justXBMC ROM for a week now. Runs really well with few reboots. Wish the "home/back" bar existed for the few times it hangs I could go back instead of rebooting.

Only issue is I have not been able to get Ethernet working? When I plug in Ethernet cable system reboots. Please let us know if you flash and have problem with ethernet. Perhaps there is a different hardware for Ethernet in the T428?

AdvancedSettings file for XBMC?

I have installed this rom yesterday and really like the speed and response time. I have also loaded all my favorite addons from superRepo & Xunity. But i have a few hiccups and looking for help here:

1. I have a slow internet via WiFi and XBMC takes a lot of time to buffer.. well the same file on my earlier rom (your stock firmware on which i used XBMC nightly) played without a pause to buffer. I also get a warning while streaming "cache full before reaching required amount for continuous play.. "
So basically i need a longer cache i guess? i tried to find advanced settings.xml to try and add some data but could not find it. ANy idea how to do it ? and what values to add in there?

2. I have a 1TB expansion drive connected to my neo X7.. but i am not able to add it as source in Xbmc. I can only see sdcard->sdcard0->x7 storage folders. i am not able to access files in my hard disk.

I tried browsing through EStrongs explorer and it works over there. How to add it as source in xbmc ?

in xbmc chouse root filesystem/mnt/usb to see you drive.
advancedsettings is somewhere in /data/data/tv.ouya.xbmc, dont remember exact folder.
setting catche to 0 may reslove your problem.
