Can i use the Minix Remote App with this Rom?

Ok, i flashed this rom and test it.
Remote app is not functionally Is it possible to install this function?

Next Question.
How can i open the task manager to kill no mor needed apps, or switch between open apps?

Everything is ok, but I has 2 problem:
1. I can't mount SMB folder with password. Every time when I write login and pass for SMB folder - xbmc can't mount folder and ask for enter password again every time
2. When I use default minix remote control, if I push home button, xbmc go to start screen (Welcome to justXBMC by lewy20041, Press ok and wait until XBMC start.) and I can't return to XBMC interface until restart minix

Lewy Thanks for all your hard work. It works great. I do have the same problem with hd Movies after playing 1hr. Hope that you'll find the solution! Ohw.. Had this problem also with your 1.6kernell.

In XBMC go to Videos/Files/Files/Add Videos/Browe/Add network location/

Enter your Server Name/IP address
Enter Username
Enter Password
OK

Now choose your server in the list and have fun.

You right but when I enter Server Name/IP address, Username, Pass and press OK, I see another window with request enter Username and Password again and field with radio button "Save Username and pass...", when I enter again and press OK, I see that window again But when I enter to that folder from Explorer it's work properly. Folders was shared on Win 2008 and can be mount properly on other win based and #nix based devices.

For first start I press OK and XBMC start properly, but if I press home button on remote control again (in any screen XBMC) I return to that start screen again and can't return to XBMC interface until reboot device.

also for smb you have automount script in /etc/init.d folder
just edit it to much your config change permisions to "755" ("rwx r-x r-x")
and reboot.
your smb share wil mount in /mnt/Samba_1/ as internall storage

Good idea, but not so user-friendly May be you know why i can't did it from native xbmc interface?

I look forward to this firmware getting better.

I use an episode of Game of Thrones which I ripped from my BluRay disc set as a MKV for a video test. Using XBMC on the default firmware, Finless 720 and 1080 OC firmware and the pre-006 firmware, this file always played with varying levels of choppiness. Finless being the best, but still not watchable. (surprisingly the default media program worked slightly better than XBMC on this file).

justXBMC plays the file flawlessly. Now I just need to get a remote that works.

Hi!

First and foremost thanks for the great firmware! Apart from its functionality I very much like the clean look of it without fancy flashy gimmicks or wallpapers.

The one thing that I'm experiencing difficulty with is changing the resolution. I was able to set android to 720 - 60Hz, but when I look at the system info screen in xbmc it says 1920x1080 @ 60Hz.
Is there any way to change the resolution for xbmc too?

Furthermore, there seems to be some audio lag. But this might also be an xbmc issue or due to the fact that I run via a toslink cable rather than hdmi with lip-sync.

It's a great rom for sure. Near perfect. Lewy is the man.

But I keep having 2 issues with this rom

1. occasional sounddrops
2. every video starts stuttering after about an hour

Is it just my setup or is anyone having similar problems?
