I've made the mistake of putting the .sh extension on init.d scripts a few times myself and spent a long time frustrated trying to resolve it. I even made the same mistake when I posted in my threads on working rk ROMs, I edited them last night after reading this post.

Been there done that!
Don't you hate it when something simple like that bites you for a lot of time?

I am working now in the gameloft fix, I hope to implement it soon, I will work in some ideas about BT, this needs more work yet. And I will test init.rc, I arrived a couple of hours ago to home. So time to play again

Are you using the default launcher?
Completely random or it appears when you made something specific?
Is frequently?

Maybe you can connect by adb logcat and got the log when it happends.

Seems to only happen when going to play store. If an application updates and I select it on bottom right near clock to have a look it goes to tge lock screen asking for a password. Im on default launcher. Might try nova launcher to see if same thing happens....

The init.d problem was my fault, I fail to install some links to busybox in system/xbin/ so I will upload a cwm fix for that. Working on it.

ONLY IF YOU HAVE THE 1.5 INSTALLED: DOWNLOAD http://www.freak-tab.de/leolas/QX1/l....5a-update.zip
Download it, reboot to cwm recovery (you can use Reboot.apk by Petrus to do this), and install the file from cwm. NO NEED WIPE DATA. Only install zip from sdcard and select leolas-qx1-1.5a-update.zip, then reboot the stick.

To generate a logcat, you can connect the stick by adb and use adb logcat. But for this, adb driver needs to be installed.

I've tried both 1080 and 720 kernels all at stock speeds. I'm using mxplayer HD+ decoding, and streaming over WiFi. Speed test reports 30mbps on WiFi so that should be fine. Anyone else with the same problem?
Other than that this ROM is lovely and fast!

Thanks for the report, I will try to stream something from my pc and check. I use the stick with an external hard disk attached to a self powered hub and most of my media files are in this external hd. So I dont use the lan to stream movies, but i will do a basic samba setup and test some files.

There is an apk in google play (Network speed):https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...speed.pt&hl=es that shows a graphic with the net speed, check if while you are streaming there is not very bad drops.

i've installed it, but unfortunately could not use it with my rapoo wireless keyboard+mouse combo.
i also tried to install finless's kernel on it with no success, so i went back to finless rom...
Few weeks ago i also tried your custom kernels , with the same problem of wireless combo. As u asked before , i attached dmesg from 2 roms (yours with no keyboard/mouse working and finless -working fine).
hope u will find the reason
By the way, BT keyboard is working , but the signal is very weak and unstable, and 80% of the time i press any key , android recognize multiple pressing/ so the result of one "s" keypress will be "sssssssssssssssssssssss" .at least i could press enter on terminal emulator with bt keyboard to get the dmesg and its still improvement in bt issue , finless rom couldn't pair with this device at all.

I can't got the screen lock with password.

I am working too in a Linux kernel, it boots in linux, but no wifi yet, working on it.

Yes , im using external wifi antenna , is it used for bt connectivity too? wifi signal is very strong and stable 10m distance from my router. bt lost connection 1.5m from the device, but even when its close, connection is slow and lagging alot.

The antenna is for 2,4Ghz, it must be used for both wifi and BT; wifi signal is very good for me too and stable, the only I can test in BT, (I don´t use BT usually) send and recieve from phone works good too (I dont know how check BT stability and speed), but all people reports problems with input devices (PS BT pad; keyboards, etc...). I need to check it. I ordered a BT keyboard in **** some weeks ago, it never arrives so I got a refund, I ordered other one yesterday, I hope more luck this time.

thank you for this excellent rom, i had just about given up on this q1 stick.
I had android 4.1 stock installed on it so i could use netflix but that rom gave me all sorts of problems.
i had tried finless rom, but still had some issues, i used to get wifi signals at 10-15mbs and netflix used to buffer and also xbmc was very unstable.
I ordered the tronsmart promethius box a few days ago and was going to throw this q1 stick to the storage, but i saw this Rom and wanted to give it a try... and i have to say it is simply amazing i used the 1080p(kernel_leolas_qx1_1080p_vsfsam_qx1-wifi) and it´s beyond every expectation.
1. wifi is about 22-25mbs and no drops.
2. netflix is finally as it should be
3. Xbmc is brilliant
i have been using this rom for almost a week now and have not found a single flaw..
