Use ES File Explorer...or Xplore. Go into settings/preferences and set the app to root permissions and confirm with Superuser. Then you can browse and edit the system.

And do not forget to charge until red light inside the tablet is gone. OS reports wrong charged state.

I tried your kernel and go very well, but they disable the internet connection in 3G with simcard in my pipo m9 max 3G VERSION .
Could you advise me if you know a good kernel overclocked at 1,8 or up without problem of battery that work with pipo m9 max 3G VERSION and don't disable the internet connection in 3G with simcard?

did the latest official firmware had the pipo launcher ripped off or it was there but riley took it ?

I took it out. It was causing problems.

My suggestion is to restore a Titanium Backup of 2.0 with the Family Launcher if you want it. Sorry...we has a consensus that it had to go.

Ok, I did what you told me to, but there is no place there, I don't think this rom is rooted, or i'm missing something. I look all over "settings" on preferences/ app and there are no place to set the app to root..

Which app are you using?

I use Xplore.

Install it (free) from Google Play Store.

Hit the menu button at the top right corner of the app and touch Configuration.

The third line down is a setting called Root access. "Select Superuser + mount writable".

When you leave configuration, you should be asked by Superuser to confirm permission.

but users report that videos are not smooth without it , so it got me thinking

Just curious, what's the issue with video playback that some people seems to be having? I tried the Ender's Game trailer that someone has posted in BS Player and I think it plays OK? Maybe I'm missing something?

no idea mate i cannot test it , the tablet is not with me
i need to update the firmware via teamviewer so i am confused about the stutter if it should be the official or riley 2.1

Yeah I've read that too. I tried the video that was posted in http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...l=1#post109799. The video is rated at 23.976 FPS, BS Player plays it in 23.97 avg FPS from start to finish. The file is on my PC and played through LAN

When you watch movie and think it plays OK so it's ok. But if you thinking about throw tablet by the window when you watch movie it's not ok.

That movie was encoded at 23.976 FPS, so your FPS is perfectly normal. How do you expect it to play?

With CONSTANT FRAMERATE! Like on PC and any other mediaplayer!

I'm checking now the Bsplayer FPS values with and without OOSA kids laucher in the background...
