I do not have any explanation to this, but my battery life became ordinary. Same kernel, same rr2.0. But I got 7.50h in that test and it does not feel like before. I had one charge cycle during which I had magical battery efficiency.now it's as usual.
But thanks , that shows that my kernel, working on up to 1.8ghz and 528 MHz DDR perfoms just about like stock, regarding battery life.
I will start a thread with details and several kernels.

Soo..
When I buy M9pro, what is the current, best working/looking rom.. I'm little confused..
RileyRom 2.1 based on the official Pipo firmware release dated 10/25/2013
RileyRom 2.0 actually dated 10/30/2013. I've based v2.0 on this new firmware
Pipo original: http://www.pipo.cn/En/index.php?m=Ab...an_show&id=141
Then, which one?

Anyway, I'm tempted to open the chassis & see whether it can fit a larger capacity battery, something like 10000 or 12000mah, that will be real battery life gain
For those who had artifacts in 3d with 696 fr kernel, your Mali needs more power in my kernels it's undervolted on high clock. Will post kernel with increased voltage later.

Hey, M9 Max peep's...please forgive the confusion.
This thread is serving two different subjects ATM...#1 The RileyROM, and #2 the custom kernels. I'm sorry, but both of these subjects go hand in hand. I don't mind it, but let's try to help the newbies out a little more with basic ROM support.
Maybe you kernel guys could start another thread for Pipo kernel development and chat about techy stuff over there, leaving this thread for discussion of the ROM. When you have the best possible kernel to suit the ROM, go ahead and post your link to it, here with as much documentation of features/specs as possible.
Yes, I took a whole day off from Freaktab yesterday (because of my job), and as I'm looking things over this morning, I can see that the usual ROM questions are being overshadowed by kernel discussion.
I've very excited about the kernel development and support it wholeheartedly...but I don't want to make it seem so complicated to noobies.Randy

I will use the thread RK3188 Tablet Sources to discuss building custom kernels with DNKN and others.
I'll stop posting in all but the M8HD ROM threads so will not monitor comments.Measy U4B (=Tronsmart T428) used by my kids!

Btw i get this strange bug on most 3d GAMES, its like these little pixels that appear only on some textures and colors. It happens no matter what ROM or kernel i tried.. I have the feeling that it somehow affects the performance and a dev from xda said its most likely a hardware related bug.
They keep moving very fast its like the old tv's when there was signal distortion.
IF anyone has an idea at least just share it please

Thanks!
Does Anybody know why? How to solve this problem?

WHich model PIPO M9 do you have?
Was it a fresh install, are you running some bad app possibly?
Which app do you use to play videos?
What score do you get on antutu?
Ps. To answer your question you need to provide a little more info.
