Thank you rrileypm for your got and hard work you do for the whole pipo family. I like your ROMs.
Do you know a possibility to switch off the navigation bar or merge the navigationbar with the statusbar like on JB 4.1? That will be great. Because on 4.2 the navigationbar on the button and the statusbar on the top, thats space which i require for working space and the the navigationbar is only for back, home etc. to big ;-)
I'll be happy if you find a solution.
Best regards

Also I got some zip files to flash by recovery , but better try with the xposed module first. Good luck.
EDIT: Just tried and didn't work for me, so I give you the recovery zips:
TabletUI_fix.zip
PhabletUI_fix.zip
But personaly I prefer to keep the Phablet UI because of the notification, the quick settings and the multiwindow panel. I just remove the navigation bar to maximize space, then just add pie controls and add a "hidden" navigation bar, result is like this:
I used for this:
-Xposed Installer [2.3.1]
-Utimate Dynamic Navbar [21.2]
-LMT Pie Controls [1.912]Last edited by jninanyac; 31 October 2013, 08:36.

Pipo M9 Max RileyROM 2.1
If you want it back, install the last ROM. Activate the launcher. Back it up with Titanium. Then restore it whenever you want.

custom kernel
Some details on my kernel. It is "not overclocked" as it uses _stock_ DDR freq of pipo m8hd, but with lowered voltage.
And suspend freq lowered to 165mhz and undervolted.
1.8ghz uses voltage that used on 1.6ghz in stock kernel.and you can limit max clock with apps like CPU master.
You may encounter instability as some components are undervolted, if so flash stock, I will make image with other voltages later.
And last, not confirmed by long tests, but as for now, I'm getting awesome battery life with my kernel, but not this exactly, but with lower brightness ability. For now estimated screen on time is around 12-14 hours surfing, video is supposed to give even longer work time, as DDR speed is 300mhz in video mode. Long test will show real battery performance but it needs time. Never mind the OC.Last edited by dnkn; 31 October 2013, 21:44.

I'm counting 3 of them so far:

Downsides are unknown for now, need to be tested.
