Charging Plug/Lead
My wife has a M9 Max wifi with RileyROM v2.1.
When plugging the lead in to charge the battery, the small red light inside the tablet comes on.
However hers is very touchy. A small movement of the lead and the red light goes out. It takes a lot of subtle positioning of the lead to keep the charge light on.
I've given the plug and socket a couple of sprays with an electrical cleaner. I thought it made an improvement, but now I'm not too sure.
Has anyone else had this problem?

The circuit board the inlet is soldered to is very thin and might break if the tablet is jarred or dropped with the power adapter is plugged in.
I have also heard that on some tablets (which made it past quality checks) didn't have the plug soldered in quite right.
The choice would be to either send it back for a new one, or try to fix it yourself. You'll need guidance from someone who has actually taken one of these apart...which I haven't.Randy

I think I've heard of a You Tube on how to open the case.
Cheers

I received my M9Pro yesterday (the M9Max is my wife's). I tried the Pro's charger on my wife's Max and the red light was steady no matter what I did. So, in our case, the problems appear to be with the lead from the charger, not the socket inside the Max.
Cheers
