so for the solution of the refresh of display in some tv's , use finless 1.7 1080p rom with molle 1080p kernel and ''bye bye'' this problem! after two days tests i use again my pioneer home cinema! Thanks to Bob, Molle and other people who help us! You deserve a donation of cource. Also Bob could you add patched libmedia for xbmc in the next update of your rom? I think it is something easy. Thanks a lot!

If USB it appears that maybe Minix removed the IDC etc files to support PS3 controller.
If so I may be able to fix that by using the files from 1.6 in 1.7.
Bob
The ps3 controller is connected via bluetooth... I use the cable only to update the bluetooth mac address of the t428 to the controller, after the mapping or pair of the controller, u just press the ps buttom and it sync via bluetooth automatic...
Thanks

t428 with Neo X7 rom
Great rom from finless. I am running it on my T428. I have not been able to get surround sound from my device to my A/V receiver. Any suggestions?
Update. Surround Sound does work now. Have no idea why it started working. Only thing I did was reboot. Interesting thing I found was surround sound works with my DS Video, an app from my synology NAS using MX player. When I tried it with XBMC, lost surround sound on my A/V receiver. Rebooted and surround sound came back using DS Video. I guess I am completely satisfied with my T428 now. This rom (finless 1.7) is very stable and fast. The only thing lacking is my logitech C310 webcam does not work. No Skyping.
Just shoved a donation your way, Finless
Tried netflix, no surround sound. Went back to DS video, no surround sound. Had to reboot to get surround sound back. I am bewildered.Last edited by clarkss12; 27 November 2013, 05:46.MK818B, T428, ATV 1220, CS918S, TV01, S89H, R89, ADT-1, MK808B Plus, MINIX X8-H Plus, Tronsmart Orion R68

doh, just had my first shutdown on 1.7
Was typing in google search box within browser. that's the first shutdown ive had since using finless rom. went to reboot and it got stuck at boot animation for about 15 min. I held power button and it took me to a black screen in portrait (i think, because the status bar is on the right side).
EDIT: poop, it shutdown after a few min and now it won't get past boot animation without shutting down. thinkin about flashing 1.6 back to it.Last edited by Loser; 27 November 2013, 04:31.

I was using 'kernel_cpu1800h_gpustock600_ddr667.img' with the CPU max speed limited to 1608MHz.

latest minix news
Notice Regarding MINIX NEO X7 007 FW:
Since it's release on Friday 15th November we have received complaints from several users regarding a possible bug on the 007 FW, which was causing the screen to become pixelated and white lines to periodically appear on the screen.
Today, we were able to confirm the existence of this issue and have decided to remove the 007 FW from our website, whilst we work on a fix.
We hope to release the updated version of 007 FW shortly. In the meantime we advise customers to use our latest stable NEO X7 FW - 006c, which has been uploaded to our website.
We apologize for the inconvenience, we are working to fix this issue as quickly as possible.
Best Regards,
MINIX

Regarding the browser, now that i am at it, i think it is only Chrome related (i use beta), cant remember having issues with the stock one that barely has a name.
Minix is responding well, but their problem is our problem too, we still havent come up with an approach to RockChip, it is not a matter of pointing fingers, but are they aware of our problems? there must be a way to make them know how to help us, helping us means more manufacturers using their chip, meaning more sales, a WIN-WIN-WIN situation.
