Just copy the patched libmedia.so file to /system/lib directory and you are done. Otherwise, you have to looki into how to root the machine. You won't be able to copy anything to system files without root permission.
Thanks for your answer, now I get it ;-) BTW, I am going to use the finless 1.7 rom, so root is not a problem...

In finless 1.6 was ok.
1. 1080p in youtube: Currently there is no 1080p youtube playback in Android apps, Google is rolling out backend changes and disabled this quality for the time being
2. Scroll down after search in 5.2.27: the bug shows itself when you press Enter on your remote controller or in Rockchip App. When you select search query from drop down menu result list is not scrolled down

After the device was asleep overnight, this morning I tried using Google Hangouts, and the Camera failed. I then tried Gallery/Camera app and it still failed to load, this time crashing Gallery/Camera app when it tried loading the camera device. I then unplugged the camera, rebooted, replugged, and the Gallery/Camera app still failed in the same manner. I'll try more tests tonight and report back.
Thanks!
Anyone know any means to coax better videoing out of the Minix/Logitech combo?

I think I also had set the sampling rate to 50000 for testing purposes sometime back. But yesterday (before the freezes) I had booted to CWM Recovery for backing up the system. After the reboot, I don't remember changing the rate back to 50000 (it doesn't persist).Last edited by Molle; 24 November 2013, 09:06.

Hi, Finless.
I'm one of those unlucky guys with HDMI output problems with the new rom (white lines, tv going out of sync, etc.).
I'd like to try the new test rom from minix (it supposed to have the overlay off and passthrough fix applied, I know your rom has the overlay stuff inside but there is one report that my problem was fixed in the test rom so may be there are more changes than just that - want to give it a try...).
If it'll work I'd like to apply a little o/c to the stock kernel. I recall you had some difficulties in the process of creating 1.7, can the patch-o-matic from phjanderson still be used for that purpose?
Thanks!

With 16GB and 4GB allocated for APPs, this seems like a good balance.
However, I added a 8GB, 10GB and 14GB parameter file by request.
