NEOMODE HYBRID ROM 1.8 MK802IV UG007B CX-919 MK809III J22 and others with AP6210

ThIs rom I do yesterday and IS 720, NOT 1080... I tried H/W+, H/W, SW and everything other.. :-) With the new stock rom I had only some stutter, but with this I have very very few fps.... The best for me at the moment is Neo 1.8, but BT doesn't work... I'm waiting for the 1.9....

Your miss under standing i never said it was 1080p.
I said 1080p ROM have video playback issues and your going to be hard pressed to find any that work well.
As for your video stuttering you clearly got something else going on.

We need more info.. Router...are you streaming or local and so on.
I streamed avatar last night and no stuttering.

Also the stuttering fixes affect things differently so one player may not work and yet others do.

I stream using plex media server and the plex client which plays back smoothly.

You can also wait for neo 1.9 or use a custom kernel although i aviod the later if your not very experienced.

It was removed do to bugs i beleive.

It sound like you know what you are talking about, is it not possible to take kernel from MK802IV and put into NEOMODE MK809iii 1.9 version? instead of waiting for a new version specific to MK802IV

Yes but considering that was made just for that device i wouldn't bother trying it.
I got no ideas what changes he made so its rolling the dice.

Now you can use can use neo rom and flash with sam321 frame rate fix kernels from here.

Just read what he says and i would stay away from the overclocked ones unless you really know what your doing.

Me since i stream with the plex server (free) and the plex client (5 bucks) to my devices i had no need to.

Plex plays back everything smooth with only one odd glitch which is i have to pause the video then click start again or it doesn't play (odd but barely anoying).

Ps.. sorry for typing mistakes had wrist surgery and fingers are still stiff

I will do as you suggest, and thanks for your help, I use my stick in my car in combination with the Pioneer APPRADIO, so my main gold is to get a fast and up to date system, and not so much video, be course screen in my car is 7 inch (800x480)

I have a WD hard disk usb 2.0 in OTG port... the strange thing is that this kind of drop of frames is only with this firmware.. with ALL other firmware only some stuttering... Always with MX PLAYER PRO... With Neo 1.8, 2 weeks ago all was perfect (video too, no stutter), but after some days I had some other problem (unmount nand and BT return on OFF).... i tried 2 or three times again to change rom with this and always the same thing... I tried BS player, Archos player too.... I hope Neo receives soon his package... :-) :-)

Yeah thats always the problem.
There so many differences in setups and hardware that one rom can work for someone and not for others..
Sounds like this rom is missing the ntf mounting that other roms have.

All mention the stuttering to the other rom maker and see what he thinks.

Yes something has been improved, what!!! "I don't know", be course in version 1,7 I was not able to use my touch screen in my car, this function are controlled by the Bluetooth and works super in the 1,9 version!!

Ok i was also bored so i gave the mk809 rom a try and with kernal2 it seems to be working perfectly fine on the mk802IV.

Hopefully this helps neo in his building of a custom rom for the MK802IV.

Infact it seems to work so good as to have fixed the plex video playback issue (needing to click play a few times to start).

Neo of course does sweet work so i shouldn't be suprised.

Only thing of real note is the core speed which on kernal2 only clocks down to 1200Mhz but thats not a bug.

Is there way to disable that stick close down when Bluetooth and HDMI connection closed down, I can see on my Pioneer APPRADIO that stick Boot" up every time I have stop my car and start again!! Yes I have constant power on like a ordinary phone, and I want stick to be on and ready to connect 365 days a year.

PS I am on version 1,9
