Are you sure it only works for dvb-t?

I see, then it should work if the drivers will load. This is where I got the information about your tuner http://stevekerrison.com/290e/index.html tuner is it right??

          Yes. That's it.

So it should work with DVB-C too right?

I will try when receive the tuner (in next week).
Then my goals is to get it working in X7 with Cccam!

              Any job done with CCcam?

Anyone knows how to get CCcam working with tvheadend in RK3188 devices like X7?

Well remember that it is not guaranteed to work, and as for CCcam this is not the right place to be talking about that. I could not condone the use of this software and if any work had been done I would not put it here

Ok...i will focus only on tvheadend over X7.

So as i said, i will leave feedback as soon as i receive the tuner.

                      rk3188 RTL2832 DVB-C

                      @Sam321, Hi

                      i found a patched driver-source for RTL2832 here:
RTL2832U driver modded for Linux kernel 3.0.0. Contribute to ambrosa/DVB-Realtek-RTL2832U-2.2.2-10tuner-mod_kernel-3.0.0 development by creating an account on GitHub.

Is it possible for you to crosscompile this modules for kernel 3.0.6+?
                      Because i need rc_mode for DVB-C on RTL2832.
DVB-T-reception is is very poor in my area and it would be nice to have DVB-C on the box.

                      Thanks in advance!
                      Regards
                      Daniel

                          Thanks a lot.
                          But unfortunately not loading.

                          Unknown symbol dvb_usb_device_init (err 0)
                          Unknown symbol dvb_usb_device_exit (err 0)

Seems that something is missing in kernel.?

you need to make a driver pack that file will not work on its own. you need at minimum
                            dvb-core.ko
                            dvb-pll.ko
                            dvb_usb_v2.ko

                                hi sam,

there must be something wrong with the module.
                                Same error!
dvb-usb-rtl28xxu.ko is loading, but dvb-usb-rtl2832u.ko not.
I think you must get the same error, when compiling the module.?
Now i have cloned the omegamoon git and tried to compile the module, but got the same error, while compiling.
Thank a lot for your efforts!!
                                Must live without DVB-C.
