hey guys. i need some help here. im having some issues with the auto rotate. apparently my tablet cant rotate unless its being forced by an app. my findings online has shown that it might be a g sensor issue. however, im unable to solve this problem even by downloading calibration apps. any ideas guys? i have flashed from riley to finless to kasty to see if i can remedy the issue.Comment

i have reflashed many roms many times. wiped alot of times. i even tried stock. anyway. i shall give my tablet a rest for today. hopefully it understand the pain of its owner. haha.Comment

Download an APP that tests your hardware (I forget the name but there are many free ones). You can see how your rotation sensor is working or not as well as compass etc.

I'm currently leaving the tablet for charging so it's not with me. But searching on the web it seems some phones do face this problem also. All they need to do is calibrate it with the phones internal system and all is well. For tablets I did see a asus transformer having this issue also. But then he also solved it with some app which does calibration. I did try the app but nope. No go. I shall go sleep and hope tomorrow all will be well.Comment

BUG FOUND in my 1.4 ROM
Guys and Gals...... Turns out while making my 1.5 ROM I found that my bootwifi and boot3g were not working correctly! In my scripts I made a fatal mistake in my final ROM. It worked for me while testing which is why I reported such good battery savings! BUT in my final ROM it did not change anything.
Also init.d was not working!
NO WONDER some are not seeing the power savings turning off 3G for 3G owners that don't use 3G or even some wifi users not seeing it.
My mistake folks!
1.5 will fix this. Forget my 1.4 ROM and I am going to pull it anyway when I release 1.5
