    UPDATE - K-R42 - wasser firmware - Kikat Android 4.4.2

    Hello Wasser, your firmware works excellent on my k-r42 tn-bx09_2.1 revision 1335.I have flashed new version kitkat firmware. Xbmc, and video playback much better than stock rom. Ethernet working, wifi too. Antutu jumped from 15000 (jb) to 19000 (wasser). Only one small, and one bigger problem This firmware does not auto-save audio output (i have flymouse with speaker, he uses this one by default) and after every reboot i have to switch audio to HDMI and spdif. That is small problem Bigger is that i cant use sambadroid ap after update. Worked fine under android 4.2, now there is no samba server in my windows 7 network (android phone can see samba server, just i cant acess it on windows). Is anyoune using samba on this firmware? Maybe some other apk? Thanks in advance!

          UPDATE - K-R42 - wasser firmware - Kikat Android 4.4.2

          I have tried that too. Both version (from google play and developer one) With google play version you can add only fat32 partition (not ntfs), With developer one, you can check option ,,dont rewrite smb.conf file,, and then manually edit config. My config look like this:

          # Auto-generated by com.funkyfresh.samba
          #
          #
          # smb.conf last written on 2013-07-03_12-49-11 app build 111105d
          #
          #
          # Manual edits of smb.conf are not supported.
          #
          #
          # Sharing of non FAT based filesystems is unsupported. Do so at your own peril.
          #
          #
          [global]
          interfaces = wlan0 eth0
          bind interfaces only = yes
          workgroup = WORKGROUP
          server string = Samba on Android
          netbios name = MYANDROID
          remote announce = 255.255.255.255
          encrypt passwords = yes
          security = USER
          restrict anonymous = 1
          load printers = no
          printcap name = /dev/null
          disable spoolss = yes
          deadtime = 5
          delete readonly = yes
          nt acl support = no
          inherit permissions = yes
          socket options = SO_SNDBUF=16384 SO_RCVBUF=16384
          local master = no
          unix extensions = yes

          [hdd1]
          vfs objects = fake_perms
          comment = Android /mnt/HDD
          path = /mnt/usb_storage/USB_DISK0/
          force user = root
          read only = no
          writable = yes
          guest ok = yes

          In network i can see MYANDROID server, but when i click on it i get message that windows cannot acess server. Is there somethimg wrong in my cfg file?

            I had that happen to me once but after a reboot of my server, it was fine from there.

              I managed to write files to the system partition to add the Bluetooth support.

              This was using adb via my PC.

              Are you talking about from within Android itself?

                  Not sure what to suggest I'm afraid.

                  I have security = SHARE in my config file.

                    It is most likely login problem. I have added username root, and same pass like in samba apk settings in es explorer on my phone. Now i can acess files from phone. Only problem is that i dont know where to enter username password in windows 7 for samba server? I was never prompted for login data.

                      When I first set it up, after adding the name and password into the app, when enabled it tells you what to enter in windows, so in my case, I just used the run option, typing in \\android and I was presented with a login to enter the appropriate credentials.

                        BIG THANKS my friend! That worked I had to enter local ip adress in run \\192.168.1.103 then creddentials finally appeared thanks again! Is there some way to start samba filesharing server automatically after boot? Sambadroid had that option. Maybe with some startup program?

                          Great stuff.

                          There are some apps in the store that claim to be able to autostart apps such as

                          R-TV BOX S10, Beebox N3150, Chuwi Hibox, Nvidia Shield, A95X Max

                            Apk sambadroid also worked after i have added server via run-\\localip After that i just create desktop shortcut and its ok. With that ap there is no server in network (strange) but is workig ok. I like more sambadroid, it has auto start option.

                              It must be kernel issue, because with stock kernels I have no blinks.

                                XBMC does not work with mouse, remote control only.
                                In version 1.03 work on 1.04 not working, a solution please.
