How to get youtube back, using play store got error to download. TQ

Must be something with the play store not the ROM, I got it with no issues and a few sticks and I am using 1.7a

Just uninstalled and tried again to be sure for you and it installed in under 10 sec. Maybe try the router reboot as I suggested to penningsbjorn. Must be something simple.

Question: Standard this Rom has no You Tube player. But when i search in the app-store: Youtube... He does not seem te find the player?

What ROM are you using? I am running 1.7a for the v5 board and I can search it fine in the play store. Typed in "You Tube" and it is the first item that comes up. I read somewhere on the Geekbuying website to reboot your router because the play store issues had nothing to do with the stick or the ROM. Try that.

I use 1.7a finless... Strange, when I search "You Tube" is the first app Droid - Unblock youtube. But not the normal you Tube-app.

That is my 2nd option behind You Tube, try reboot your router and the box just to be sure you are starting fresh then check again.

Maker sure your date and time are correct! Some routers may not provide date and time and you will be stuck in the 1970's otherwise. Google Play doesnt like that!

Mini PC: Tronsmart MK 908 v.3
Router : TP Link 841ND
TV : LG 42LM580T
Video player installed on MiniPC : MXPlayer
Speed Wi-Fi: reception - 30MB , 25MB - return
The main objective MiniPC : FullHD playback channels in the network of my ISP through technology IPTV.
After flashing the ROM version once all the settings do the same.


Runoff on firmware " Stock_update_mk908_106j2107_04.zip " and your custom firmware " tronsmart_mk908_finless16.zip " and " tronsmart_mk908_finless16a.zip " FullHD video goes well.


On firmware " Stock_update_mk908_202j2203_overseas.zip " and "Stock_update_mk908_202j2203_overseas - v5.0.zip " and your custom firmware "tronsmart_mk908_finless17_ & _Over- Clocked_Kernels.zip " "tronsmart_mk908_finless17_ & _Over- Clocked_Kernels.zip " FullHD video is very bad.
Question to you is : why in the last firmware video is so bad? Added to the firmware ? What should be changed in the firmware that would 1920x1080 video went smoothly and brakes.
I would like to stay on the latest firmware , but because of the problems of the video playback is not possible to do it. Help please . I'm not good at technology to build firmware . But I , as a skilled user to your prompt that then it changed.

Hey Bob! In firmware version 1.6a was this item:

Fixes touch screen issues with real USB touch screens AND for APPs that need to emulate touches like Six Axis or Tinecore APP.
I replaced some lib files and added virtual_touchscreen.ko. The lib files were the key to fixing touch!

In the current firmware ver. 1.7a emulating touches does not work again.

I missed adding the touch stuff because most kernels now have it. I guess Tronsmart is behind as usual

As for answering questions. If I do not answer it's because I do not know the answer and have not had time to look into it. I cant fix everything. If I answered every question that came up, I would never get any ROMs done or even sleep!

Anyway I will see if I can add back the touch stuff.

I just registered to say thank you for this ROM and the kernel.

- Tronsmart MK908 V3.
- I'm using the following kernel: kernel1080p_cpu1800h_gpu798h_ddr667.img
- I'm getting perfect 1080p playback using BS Player with a 24.1 Mbps Blu-Ray MKV rip of The Hobbit.
- I'm using a USB Ethernet dongle. I haven't tried WiFi to check the performance.
- No stability or heat issues.
- Previously with Finless 1.4 and the mk908-jjhkernel-v3.3-1080p-fast.img kernel, it would lose the HDMI signal every 15-60 minutes, mostly audio, but sometimes both audio and video. I don't have any such issues now.
