Hi Bob
First of thanks for your outstanding support to the Minix devices your Fw releases are always my first choice. I tried to use the new official release from Minix since I notice that it comes with a custom version of XBMC so far device works great and run 1080p videos very smooth directly from XBMC with not need of a external player. 1080p videos have always been a problem for the X5. Now with this release, there is an issue, I would called big issue, "Netflix" doesn't work and Minix doesn't seem to be providing any workaround for this. Anyway I just want it share my findings with you.
Again, Thanks a lot for your support.

you must change build.prop with original file. check with some root browser for "build.prop" and "build.original". first one rename to something else (build.changed, for example) and "build.original" rename to "build.prop".
that is why because x5 is named as samsung device because better market compatibility. and xbmx sees it as samsung instead minix.
after that, reboot, maybe reinstall xbmc, and then will xmbc should start.

Miracast on Finless 1.3?
Hello Bob and thanks, as always, for this fine ROM. I have been using it for some time now and have only just become interesting in using the Miracast feature mentioned by Minix here. They say it is on 4.2 and your ROM implements 4.2.2. But I cannot seem to find anything on this in your ROM. Is it not there or am I just an idiot not looking in the right place? Any help is appreciated. Thanks
PS - In reading more about Miracast, I see that it is wifi-oriented. I have turned wifi off on my Neo in favor of ethernet. So maybe this is why I am not seeing anything?

Safe Mode in Finless 1.3?
I have read that Android supports safe mode startup. I have managed to do this on my Samsung Note. I would like to use this on my Neo X5 to try and help me id the source of my regular crashes (they are not from a too fast CPU speed or scheduler issues - I tried all that without success). Is it possible to trigger safe mode in Finless 1.3? If so, how? Thanks

Question about 720 and 1080 in Finless 1.3
In his first post, Finless writes "One set to support 720P boot and another for 1080P boot." I have installed the 720 version (mainly because my TV is a 720 unit. Does this mean that I should not be able to get 1080 output?
I find I can change the screen's hdmi output mode to 1080 from the settings. Is this as expected? If I do not do this, the TV reports a 720 signal. If I do, the TV reports a 1080 signal. So I am a bit confused, is the difference ONLY related to the resolution during boot?
If I change from 720 to 1080 using settings, does this impact the boot?
Thanks and sorry for being so dense. I am grasping at straws.
