DMESG attached. Forgot to mention that all 4 USB ports work well.

      Thanks.

There are licensing issues, some of them say source should be open, some say source should be closed.

        Currently it's closed.

The source was provided to freaktab on condition we didn't make public

So the obvious question would then be, how do you become a freaktab developer?

            Cheers,
            J

In my case I built a few scripts and was the first to compile the kitkat source code and make the resulting kernels available to all. Bob invited me after that.

So the kernel sources (licensed with the GPL) are actually closed? As far as I know everything that's derived from GPL code is automatically gpl and needs to be licensed the same. .

                  Many thanks for this.

So I got the GPU code in okay but only half the DDR fix!

I'll publish a second tester later this evening.

What I meant to say was. Some people agree with that, and some don't.

If we go down this GPL route again then there is only one outcome. I was given the sources on the express promise that I don't share them. If that is too much for the people on the forum then that's fine, I'll delete all the kernels I've created and stop work.

I will not break my promise.

The beta source, with all my code changes, is available to all on my public github account. As far as I'm aware no-one has done anything with it but me.

Sorry that was nothing against you. I this wasn't about you breaking you promise or should I any way shading a bad light on the things you do!

I more than value what you are doing! So I assume there is no code in any public accessible git repo right?

So regarding the uvc webcam to dark problem, is there anything the could be done without the kernel code (I wanted to try hardcoding auto brightness to see if that makes a difference, but without the code that could be difficult)

                        Regards
                        Jens

There are brightness defaults in the UVC source code. Look into the beta sources on http://www.github.com/dee-UK. If you get a solution let me know and I'll port it into the current source

Should now override DDR & CPU properly but untested by me.

Believe us, both d33 and me wants to make the code public but we cant, it sucks, I know, but we cant do anything, if we release it, next time they will not provide it to us, we will not get it and offer kernels to users Be sure that in the moment we can release it we will upload it to a public git, like we did with all the kernels we got.

With V4071, my TV01 (CS968) hangs in boot logo "Google TV", no boot to desktop. I also tried the OTG tricks on boot, same result (no desktop).
