That would be sweet if possible. If it could default to stereo when capability is not reported back.

I have this problem with one of my screens.

        Greetings.
        I see few things here:

        - FACTORY TABLE (Rockchip) goes to 1350mv MAX
        - OVERCLOCK TABLE (pjanderson) goes to 1450mv MAX (+7%)

Is it safe to increase pjanderson OC'ed mV table?... How much can it be ?

        Greetings.

I've never tested overclocking without extra cooling on my stick.
As you can see I have a rather big heatsink on my RAM and SoC:

Even with this mod I sometimes don't feel completely comfortable with my temps.

I wouldn't go over 1600/600/720 without extra cooling, but that's just paranoid old me.
I'm running at 1800/600/720, pushing the GPU past 600 Mhz makes little to no difference on performance but makes a huge difference on the amount of heat generated by the SoC.
At least that's the case with me but I have a T-SoC.

          Hello again Pihkal,

I decided to install the following OC Kernel:

          cpu1704/gpu600(stock)/ddr667

As Neomode's already have suggested, and just to be fully sure that my CX-919 don't over heat...

          And I am getting an ANTUTU = 19,300 to 19,450 !!

As I mentioned before my CX-919 have the FULL RK3188 (Not T), and I am using it without any Cooling...

Does anyone here in the forum have tested the CX-919 with a higher speed kernel without over heating problems and have got better performance?

i am facing strange issue with kernel 4 and 4.1 after installing the kernel i see nand is not mounted. so basically i cant access any of my application. however if i reinstall kernel 3.1 everything is working fine. can anyone explain me what could be going wrong?

            i am using cx919 rk3188(without T).

Usage demands and heat output change regularly, regardless of kernel. My suggestion is to stay safe and hit targets based on acceptable performance, not potential heat generation. Stay well below moderate heat thresholds, as even ambient air temp will drastically alter how the chips cool. A hot room can scorch a regularly clocked device going full throttle without adequate protection, and any OC will accelerate this effect. I'm all about redundancy though. My TV stick setup is an always-on family media center and ended being a "function over form" assembly. Its ugly. To alleviate chip burn in our hot summers I have heatsinks on RAM, SOC and NAND plus a fan to wick heat from the system.

                Strange issue started today

                D33 (or anybody else),

Till evening, my CS968 was all fine, with fullscreen 1980x1080p. At night when I turned it on, it showed up as probably a 4:3 aspect ratio. With wm, I checked that the size and density were 1920x1080 and 240 indeed. Tried almost 10 times and all settings I could think of and also the screen scaling (seems to be at max for width.)

My ROM is htc_t018_public_MTK_root_CSQ_4.4.2_20140424 and kernel is kernel_KK_v4.21_TVBOX_AP6210_SD.

Do you know how to rectify this? I have attached DMESG and screen images (I had to reduce density to 160 to get the fullscreen shot displaying information. Rename the screen information files to .jpg, as I was facing problems with image uploads.)
                Attached Files
                Tronsmart Orion R68 Meta
                CS968 -> HTC_T018 v4 20131216 with MTK

Excuse me trolling in this thread, but I need your help. Some people (and me too) couldn't get the Chuwi v88 quad tabs above 1.4GHz under KK. (Under JB it goes well on 1.6GHz)
So I flashed v5.3 JB ROM, v2.2 and v2.3 KK ROMs with JB kernel, and v3.1 KK ROM with KK kernels and dmesged the tablet.
So I ask you to take a look in the result with your most experienced eyes and tell me the possible problem with our devices.
                  Thank you,

Working kernels 1080p on MK802IV New WiFi

                      Guys,

Tried everything I know, but I could not make D33 kernels working on my MK802IV New Wifi.

I started with Finless Rom 2.0, changed boot.img to patched 1080p, everything working well with »strock« kernel made by Bob until I rebooted.

Tried Neomode 3.1, everything works well with Neo's »stock« but it is 720p. Youtube stays there at 720p does not matter what you stream from them.

As far as I try D33 any kernel, 4.1, 4.0, 3.0 anything, my stick will not boot. It blanked shortly and then I have no signal on my television.

Can somebody help me to do it if it is possible. What I want is KitKat ROM and 1080p kernel with or without OC, just working 1080p on MK802IV New Wifi.

                      Thank you.

                        same problem here !

I have exactly the same problem , now stick with Neomode 3.1 and his 1.6Ghz OC kernel.
I do have problems with full screen video on this rom.
So I'd love D33 his 4.0 kernels to work on this rom .

                        bye.

I have the same stick and i can`t get it to work with any kernel rather than the 2.xx. With any other d33 kernel i get blank screen and no boot.

D33 please help... I need to unlock my ******* T crap cpu!!!!!

If you want to make the MK802IV 1080P work with D33 kernels later than 2.07 then the only working one is likely this tester kernel with no DDR or GPU OC. Download link is

As for Kitkat 4.4.2, any of them seem to work pretty well including wasser 0.95, SMIC17394 V2, cloudnet, etc.. Some need tweak of buildprop density set to 200, 220 or 240 on 1080p based on personal preference.

                              Hi...
I had this problem a few weeks ago... so try this.
Change the bootloader (i think it's 1.0something )... the 2.08 version, that came with the finless kitkat 2.0 resolved the problem to me.. use this new bootloader and flash mk again..
                              Hope to help U!!

PS. Sometimes it not boot at first time... but on second or third, it goes... i think it's related to PSU maybe.

Your 4.1 kk kernel config doesn't work on the radxa-dev-kk or rockchip-3.0-rbox-kk anymore since the latest commits.Still worked last week.
Can you fix it or make a new kernel?
