From the OP:
The following are kernels built against Rockchip sources provided to Freaktab on condition we don't publish (sorry!). These are intended to be used with the recent release of "official" ROMS (April 2014 onward) not beta ROMs (use v2.x/3.x for these)
Version 4.2- TV Boxes - RK1000 support (Audio codec & TV out) / Dual lcdc
- TV Sticks - No codec / Single lcdc
- HD resolution (1920x1080)
- SD resolution (1280x720)
- Single kernel for all SOCs (this is overclock for RK3188T)
- CPU: 1.6 GHZ, GPU: 600 MHz, DDR: 720 MHz
- Increased PLL stability over v4.1
- Boots properly on MK902/CS968 models
TV Stick pack (AP6210/AP6210-alt/AP6330/RTL8188)Here's a CPU only build for those that wish to check boot stabilityMeasy U4B (=Tronsmart T428) used by my kids!
Onda v975m - M802 - Bought from Banggood.com
Pipo M8HD 3G - RK3188 - don't buy from pipo-store
Tronsmart S89 Vega -S802 (sponsored by Geekbuying)
CX921b -RK3188T (sponsored by AndroidTV)
Cube U30GT2 - RK3188 (part sponsored by Geekbuying)

Like d33 and a few others discussed before some of these sticks don't like DDR and GPU OC, so you will, unfortunately, have to use a kernel where you can only OC the CPU.
EDIT: Seems that the 4.2 release doesn't contain a CPUONLY img anymore. Was this intentional, and is it supposed to work?

- Look for RKRemoteControl v2.0.3 apk and install it in some phone/tablet.
- Once installed, pair it with your device and look for Control tab.
- Press Power touch button and your device will enter in suspend mode.
- When you turn TV on again, press Power touch button again to restore it.

Quick question.
Could someone suggest a more recent ROM to try out with these kernels?
Ive been using simc717394's KK ROM for mk902.
I actually got the 4.2 kernel here working with it, but not without a good deal of apps crashes and out and out reboots.
Is there a NEOMODE or FINLESSBOB out there somewhere I can try? A pointer to a thread I haven't been able to find would suffice. (feel free to PM it to me if you dont want to spam the thread, or put it in the thread if you think it will help others.)
I know the KK stuff is still pretty new.
Thanks for any help anyone could give me.
