Idont see the need of use with CWM on this devices.
I have tried TWRP on my device and it wont respond over touch screen.
However evertinhg you want to flash, you can do it with the 2 flashtools.
I think you are bricked now.

I am not bricked... I just don't have a recovery

If after flashing TWRP you see the Android...you DIDN'T FLASH TWRP.

Check the flash tool settings and make sure you did it right. If you flash TWRP in place of the stock recovery, you won't see that Android robot anymore...you will see TWRP.

              Update...

Hello everyone - new here. I flashed the previous version of this ROM yesterday and that went fine first time - thanks Riley. Can someone tell me the procedure for 'updating' to this more recent version? Does IDB (Nand) need to be wiped? And anything else I should know?

              Thank you.

You need to just follow the exact same procedure you did with the other ROM. Yes, you need to erase IDB. And keep the loader checked because this is a new loader.bin file.

Thanks, I did that anyway as I have a backup and restore that puts pretty much everything back how it was. It works well - well done. One thing though, why does Google maps take an age to get a location fix? Google Earth had hardly finished starting when it was zeroing in on me - almost scary!

Can someone tell me if the device goes down to deep sleep with this rom?
Both RR and Finless i have tried (JB base) have always reported 99% wake state, according to "wakelock detector"

Only rom that i have seen and tested that lets the device go to deep sleep is nxmod/kkmod.
Im looking for a KK rom and this seems to be it but i dont want to go through the hassle of updating and then realize the device is awake all the time and have to charge 2 times / day.

Yes, it does (according to a few different CPU/Kernel modification and monitoring apps I've tried so far). The only CPU state mine shows it doesn't use is 1608MHz ....which is a real shame, but many others are in the same boat.

Shame about 1608MHz but as long as its responsive and goes down to deep sleep im fine with it

For me, no real complaints about the ROM or tablet (I just got the tablet last week). I replaced an older tablet and this combo works very well for my needs.

This rom sounds fantastic! Can't wait to try it out when my m9pro arrives this week (hopefully). I have a few questions..

Riley you say multi screen feature isn't available is that just for this rom or is it a kitkat thing in general?

I haven't seen anyone comment on hdmi can someone please give me some feedback on this and if it's working as it should be? I will be using hdmi quite frequently so need to make sure this feature is working perfectly before flashing, thanks.

Multi Window was a feature in JB that hasn't made into any KK release I've seen.

As for HDMI, I haven't tested it on my M7 Pro (Which is what this ROM is based on).
