I've bricked my TV Box and don't have the tools to open it up whilst away from home, so I'm out of the game for a few days.

I may be getting excited about nothing but I notice that both the 'new' ROMs both have a Sound Device manager that offer pass through sound. My hotel TV gives no indication of what it is receiving so I don't know if it was receiving multi-channel sound or not but the setting worked (with my kernel)

    Perhaps you can try?

I moved the cloud key posts to the correct thread. Was totally irrelevant here.

No it is due to the driver for ES8323 loaded by kernel. Presumably GK525 has this audio codec and so all good.

This does explain the odd, tablet like config. I wasn't aware of a stick having mic and camera

    Thanks for the review.

well, this rom is actually coming from GK525 factory, so it should work well with GK525.

so , bob and d33, is this the reason who caused the sound problem? they lock it and make it only work with GK525?

Sorry guys, i don't know this "official" rom have so many problems. I do know rockchip release the official android 4.4 in last week, so i contact every factory i know, and ask them to use that new SDK to build their own android 4.4 firmware, yesterday, i get this firmware from one of the factory, and i just flash, and test simple, and find it can work well for all ap6210 model, so i post this.

I will keep talking with the factory who release this firmware, and check if they make some mistakes when built this firmware.

thanks again for bob and d33.

    OK nix that..... Correction.

Your 6210 kernels wifi does work. You just cannot use radxa's boot.img (without kernel of course) or his system.img!
It is different in how it loads modules or something and modules in system must be different too.

I have not looked in detail yet to see why. I am sure it will be something in rk30board.rc and missing modules in system.

I am done on this for tonight.....

    Another finding.

I can get your 3.10 6210 kernel booting with the radxa ROM or the one geekbuying posted.
But wifi will not turn on!
Your kernel works fine with my KK BETA ROM so it's not the wifi in the kernel

That means we have lib/modules/ that have change like wlan.ko or other ko drivers!!!!

Well I am burning out after messing with this crap. My head is buzzing

    Back to it tomorrow.

Like you I pulled kernel out of boot and made a new boot from the radxa ROM.

Your 6210 kernels wont boot but the 6330 will. odd.

    Bob

    Correction!

On my MK908-ii none of your 6210 kernels will work on this KK or my BETA KK. The 6330 kernels will boot but no wifi.

On my CX-919 your 6210 kernels will boot with any of the KK systems. But of course on this new KK your kernels are laggy and jumpy! They are fine on my BETA KK.

So something is odd with your 6210 kernels!

    - when you refer to mask is about partition layout?..
    - the one from wasser kk thread for minix neo x7 will be ok?..
Mask ROM mode is another mode you can flash your device in if the bootloader will not go into flash mode. Sometimes you will have to short pins on a IC inside your device to force it to this mode. This is only a concern if you soft brick your device which depending on your device is hard to do. Don't play with different versions of bootloaders than what is included with a ROM you are flashing is a general rule of thumb.

Tom? I don't know him do you?

Yes I now see wifi in his kernel is not a 6330 or 6210.

Does he have some sources we don't?

Also his system.img is different than the geekbuying release in small ways.

Do you have a few moments to help me guiding me on flashing this on proper way on my neo x7?..
I need a few info about what I need to flash and if I should use the boot.img included in radxa for test.
Can you point me up for the right tool for flashing this kk rom on my minix neo x7.
    Thank you.
