This ROM (KitKat_T010) is much better but only 1280x720 resolution, unrooted and kernel locked.

I can't get sound on my TV Box (T CPU, RK1000 codec)? Can anyone else? If you get sound can you report what 'kit' you have?

Here are some unlocked kernels to test with the above ROM. Let me know what works and what doesn't. I'm particularly interested to here from anyone who gets the audio working in the original to tell me if mine have audio too. Bob says audio works with stock on the CX-919

My TV box is TV01 V3 (CS968), RK3188 "T" CPU with AP6210.
Here are my test results

(1) Kitkat_T010_AP6210_public_20140403, stock rom
WiFi + BT working
Sound over HDMI is working
Ethernet is working, MAC address assigned
All 4 USB ports are working.
IR remote - some keys work, probable not designed for my remote.
Camera/MIC/SPDIF - not tested
This ROM works very well. I could boot straight to KK 4.4 without using the powering OTG port method.

(2) Kitkat_T010_AP6210_public_20140403, with your "Kernel_AP6210_V4021_BOX.img"
I can boot up to the KK 4.4 screen. However, when I clicked on any icon, the TV box rebooted. There were also no status bars on the top and bottom of the screen.

(3) Kitkat_T010_AP6210_public_20140403, with your V3.1 kernel "kernel_AP6210_HD_v310_cpu1800h_gpu798h_ddr720 "
I needed to apply power to the USB OTG port prior to application of normal power to the TV box. WiFi + BT are working. Ethernet no MAC address.
Sound over HDMI is working
Only two of the USB ports are working (The stock rom has all 4 USB ports working).
Antutu mark >20000.

yes i have a not-t version

well mine doesn't boot with stock kernel
with your 3.10 kernel it boots but is very laggy
with your 4 kernel it show ugoos then black then "cannot show this video mode"

tested with your old kernel that boots
when res. 1900x is ok
if i switch to 1200x also the screen goes black and says "cannot show...", well now i rebooted and 1200x shows ok on tv but all that with old kernel (laggy)

can you make 1900x kernel?

I see an Ugos logo when it boots. The stick boots only after x times plug in and plug out the usb cable. I think we have the same reboot/boot issue again.

Mouse moving is nice and smooth.

It´s not the same. It has bootloader 2.13 and its a bigger rom.

Here is a new rom for Mediatek MT7601 and MT6622 Bluetooth but can't get it to boot on RK3188 TV Box.
Maybe with the correct boot & kernel.img it will work. It's JB and not KitKat by the way. I'm working on getting MT7601 wifi working on KitKat roms. Don't know about the other MT5931 wifi.

Is this a UGOOS device, can't find any info about it?

Here is also new rom for EKB311B but version 2.25 or v3.0, don't know since it's Chinese.
It doesn't boot on my EKB311B v2.0 TV Box, maybe with a different boot or kernel.img it might work, if anyone is willing to try.

Edit: It has bootloader v2.13 and most Google apps, busybox and Broadcom AP6210 wifi.

If only someone knew how to communicate with all these people that upload new roms to Baidu it would make it so much easier to get the correct and newer roms for all our different devices.
