      problem with install drivers..

      Hi..
2 years after, Win 8.1, same problem as here:

      - on Pipo m9pro.
I read all this thread, try all the solutions, step by step, nothing helps.

RileyRom driver can't be installed. Windows always install the other driver, and i can't install the RileyRom on my tab, stuck on this step.

      Maybe today, any new solutions?

      Thanks.

Best thing to do at this point is to find a friend with Windows 7...or better yet...XP.

          I found a solution!

          Ok, I found a solution!
It consists of two parts - bad and good.

          The sad:
I realized that I would not find a computer with Windos 7, And just go for the Chinese original version from the pipo.cn site.
Download from the Chinese took hours, so I was looking for replacement and found here:
Da es kein richtiges Thema dafür gibt, dachte ich ich mach einfach mal eins. Über die pipo.cn seite dauert es ja mit unter sehr lange bis man die Firmware bekommt. Wir sollten also hier immer versuchen die neuste auf Servern in unserer Region bereitzustellen, wenn einer sie runterladen kann...

          I download the file for M9PRo 3G, 4.4.2.
I changed it to update.img, removed the memory card, moved the file to device memory - First directory.
When completed the transfer, pop up jumped asked me to update. I confirmed.
The device has restarted and started the installation.
At the end of the installation, the device showed a black screen \ shuts down, for 20 min.
I thought it was too long, so I tried to turn it on, press the reset, nothing helps.
          The device doesn't respond.
I had accepted the fact that the device is dead, although this original version, simple installation without any root.
(By the way, it can be specific installation didn't go well, I might have to wait longer, I have no idea).

          And now the good part:
I was looking for a solution for the dead device.
Then I saw that you can try to save it by connecting the device to the computer and putting it into flash mode, then click on a few things Riley's software, if the device is detected.

          I followed the instructions: (Rom_Flash_Tool)
Q: The flash procedure went wrong somehow, now the tablet will not respond.
A: Connect via USB to your PC
Start the Flash app on your PC
Press and hold the ESC button for 5 seconds.
While holding the ESC button put a paperclip in the reset hole and press and hold it for 5 seconds.
While still holding the Esc button and the Reset button, press the power button and hold. You
will see the flash tool recognize your device in loader mode.
          Release the ESC key
          Release the Reset button
Keep holding the power button with your thumb (if you let go, it will go out of loader mode and you will have to start over). Click
Erase IDB, let it finish. The number on the right should count up to the number on the left.
Click Flash ROM. Sometimes you will need to keep holding the power button until flashing is finished.
Then just disconnect the USB cable when flashing is complete

Thankfully - the screen lights up!
Currently no Reset, all fantastic - I have Kitkat 4.4.2!!

It is important to note that can be everything happened by chance and everything fits, but I have no idea.

In addition, this time I noticed the device in Device Manager properly identified with the right drivers, nor was the annoying part of the old drivers automatic installation.

          The conclusion is:
Perhaps computers that do problems with drivers (Win 8), should try flash when the device is turned off..
          We should think about it...
Maybe add this to the First Time user guide.

Now, I have a small question:
If I want to revert back to the ORIGINAL Jellybean ROM (maybe now it's an Original Kitkat ROM on my device, I really don't know..) without root, can I do it?
Maybe it's dangerous because it's kill my device before?
or just the Riley's rooted Jellybean?
(used this guide, of course: http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...an-from-KitKat).

          Thanks!!

I think you stick with the KK ROM.

                Bad news...
I did restart to the device.
On the first screen, a pop up messege show:
unfortunately the process com.android.systemui has stopped.

When i press ok, after 2 seconds it pop up again and again.
I can't press anywhere, it is stuck.

Once I was able to press, i go into settings, and change from HEBREW to ENGLISH.
                The messege stop!
I get it back to HEBREW, and it's work fine.

Then I did another restart, and the pop up comes back again.
Now I'm not able to press, after 20 resets from the reset button, and I don't know what to do.

Is there any way to change the language without enter settings menu?

I've heard of that same problem before...always Hebrew. I don't know of a fix for it.

                    YES!!!
I was able to press the screen for 3 seconds until it stuck again and I succeeded to change the language to English in time..
Now i did restart again, and everything is ok.
I will stay with the English in the meantime..

Any idea why HEBREW is so problematic?
any solution maybe? is it the ROM? is it the KITKAT version?

                    I don't know..

I think it may be a problem with that version of the Android SDK.

                      It's very interesting.

                          Hi everybody
I'm using this rom and it's awesome. Much better than Jb.

Only there's 1problem. When I'm browsing web pages the screen is having trouble. Please see screenshot. Is there any solution for this?

                          Thank you!
