If your copying it from SDcard, remember to set the permissions on the files once they are copied to /system/framework. If you dont do that, it probably will hang on boot.

Snakekiller, you should make a CWM .zip update and let them use CWM. Much easier
You should me how to do it so your the master there

the downloaded file is zipped.
first unzip it than you have the framework-res.apk file

Sorry try that please , ill now sorry again.
Just choose install zip in cwm.
And hope its ok now.

I finally got this to work by changing the permissions on the new file after I copied it to the Framework folder. This was like playing a video game, because I had to space my actions between the error screens. I would suggest, if anyone else installs this to use that CWM version.

After reboot, I had to re-enter my GP account information, for some reason. But everything works nicely.

I tried the cwm zip version of the mod, and it worked well... Much easier!!!

Have you tried on a system without the modded framework ?
Sow yes , ok im happy its work great
Thats what i will do in the future for easy rom updates too .
Sow you don't need a pc anymore for flashing.
Just your tablet and cwm recovery.

Sorry I've not tested this before - we got a new puppy yesterday so been a little occupied!

Just installed and working fine - the new transitions are nice. I copied in manually and set the permissions, all looks good so far, though I had to re-enter my GP credentials just like Randy.

SK - question...every time I install your new build.prop & do as needed (i.e. wipe cache & dalvik) upon restart i'm stuck on the resistive calib screen - which I can't get past having a capacitive. This means I have to restore using CWM. I can't effectively test it due to this.

Any decent way of getting past this, or is it a case of waiting for the final release with the updated build.prop included?

have you try it only with cache, and not with dalvik cache
if you use dalvik cache you have this problem.
