All I did was a cwm restore and got out of it. Now I'm back to normal.

That will work too but it puts you back to whatever it was when you did a CWM backup.

After copying that new build prop I keep getting an error saying "Google Account Manager has stopped".

I keep telling it okay, but it comes right back.

OK so what do you 2 testers think... I do not know if anyone else has even tried this ROM other than Riley and Mr. Weelson?

Should I use snakekiller's build.prop tweaks in my final ROM or let users decided?

Have just flashed Beta 2 and copied in snakekillers build.prop and I like it...wasn't able to get rid of that darned resistive screen wizard!
Have also renamed the framework files you mentioned in the earlier post.

I've not seen any ill effects from the tweaked build.prop - so far! - so I don't see any reason not to include it - might be better safe than sorry to include the old one in the download of the rom in case anyone does have issues and wants to revert to the old one.

Since you renamed the calibration APK please do this test. Go into settings and there should be a menu choice to recalibrate the screen manually. With those APKs renamed I want to see if that works.

I have a feeling those APKs are a lie and not used at all. Arnova backed the calibration and startup wizard into the launcher and framework! Thus to get rid of them may need some work like using the standard AOSP 4.0.3 framework and files. Heck who knows! Might be better anyway than the Arnova modified stuff!

Also they are behind again... most tablets now are ICS 4.0.4 not 4.0.3...

Yep - Arnova are great big fat liars and their pants are on fire.

It launched the resistive wizard - corners/centre touch - fortunately a reboot got rid of it and into normal desktop (should that be tab top?)

On the build.prop question, I haven't observed any adverse reactions to snakekiller's modifications. I think things are smoother with them.

I vote to implement them in the new ROM, unless anyone else has a problem I haven't seen or tried.

In fact, because of the greater consistancy, I haven't even booted my G2 in a couple of days (even though I'm rocking the 2.2 in its full glory)

I wish someone would design a really small flash drive with a micro usb connector for these tablets. I hate having to use an adapter. Just sayin'.

I wish I had waited and ordered a dual core tablet, like you are getting, Bob, but I AM really happy with the G3. I hope your new tab can serve as a good test bed for this one, too.

Right now, the only problem is wifi gets stuck trying to obtain an ip address, still. Wifi Fixer seems to help, but not 100%. I think we are charting new territory with that one, because I'm not finding any internal solutions/tweaks. Only bandaid's.

Everything else I'm messing with on this Beta 2, just works. (except maybe Netflix).

I have a new "fixed" CWM recovery system for you guys in the next release. Not sure if you guys had errors on first boot about internal SDcard not being formatted but that is fixed. This new recovery will also support EXT4 partioning of the SDcard for APPS2SD support!
