Cool edit snakekiller! I may use them in the final ROM

Also you guys. Try turning this off

    ro.kernel.android.checkjni=1

Just put a # in front like this to just comment it out.

    #ro.kernel.android.checkjni=1

What this does is turn off the extra debugging and speed things up even more!

One 'problem' I have is that the tab seems to reboot after a power down instead of staying turned off but only when the charger is plugged in.
If I turn off without the charger it turns off completely, if I plug the charger back in it turns on automatically.

Not seen this before - is it expected behaviour?

That normal with the 10b g3
          Don't worry
So now you can only charge the tablet when in use.
The 10 g2 have it too when you plugin the ac power
But the 10 g2 will shut down with ac plugged in the 10b g3 not

I've had that since mine came out of the box.

New weirdness - I held down the power button until the tablet turned off. On reboot it came up with the resistive calibration wizard where you have to touch the corners and then the centre of the screen.
It obviously fails to calibrate but i can't exit the wizard - it says to slide the on-off switch but obviously can't do that!

I've tried using the reset button, no joy.
I was able to boot into CWM and rebooted, same wizard.

BTW I can't seem to choose a menu item in CWM, hitting the power button lets me reboot, how do I choose another option?

Figured out CWM - volume moves up and down menu, power button selects!

I was also able to get into settings - the 'Touch Panel Calibration' option also launches the resistive wizard...wot is going on.......?

A Re-flash may be in order!

That calibration wizard is a pain in the butt! For some reason it thinks you now have a resistive screen. I noticed this too. Sometimes when you hit reset pin hole or power down, it resets and wants you to do a calibration. TRUST ME! This is a BUG in Arnova's ROM!

I have tried to get rid of it for you capacitive guys since you do not need it but they have somehow put it into the launcher! Since I cannot test shit.... The touch screen doesnt work for me at all, I cannot test how to get rid of that!

What I would like is if you guys could go into /system/app and rename these three things
                      TSCalibration.apk
                      TSCalibrationR.apk
                      Wizard.apk.

Just rename all 3 of them to .aps

Mr Weelson, the only way out of it is to go into CWM and format data and cache. Sorry this will erase all your apps and settings.

FREAKIN Arnova bug with calibration yet again! This is why I removed that from ALL my recent G2 ROMs (except for real resistive screens)!

is that 'wipe data / factory reset' and 'wipe cache' ?

No, go into CWM mounts and storage and format them.

Did that, still getting the stupid calibration wizard!

I'll pick this up tomorrow - I'm out early in the morning so need my beauty sleep!
                            Thanks for the help Bob...

Yep, same thing happened with mine. Had to do a CWM restore.

Now I have to remember what I changed since the backup.

All I did was a cwm restore and got out of it. Now I'm back to normal.
