Yes recover your backup with cwm
And change the name of the apk in system/app
And make a new backup
I hope bob remove it in the final version

First make a backup with other name
Then remove it and restart and look if you have no errors

Will stick with this build.prop for now. Would be good to get init.d as well.
But do you think adding further echo lines would help? Took a look at some wifi tweaks which focused on this.

You can try
If you look at my tests its great.
And youtube plays without lags for me
I use wpa2 channel 11
If you use wep it is slower than wpa2
Or it is your router

ok, short update. Did some network changes at home - re-tested, got average speeds around 6-7mbps dl, youtube working fine, iplayer still crap!
Great stuff snakekiller, sorry for the scare! Turned my "super" hub into modem only, re-attached old belkin & got good speed. Range on 10b still less than 7g2, but getting happier.
One strange thing - after setting up to my new wifi network at home whilst i have a full signal (according to settings) the icon on the taskbar is now empty?? Will reboot, but any ideas guys?

One last thing before I crash - hope someone can help here. It's a little strange.
When playing around with the wifi, etc the tab was showing up as having 61% battery. With the loss of the signal icon showing I decided to reboot - to then find I had 16%? I'm not sure if this is a battery stat error, something else? Just after the hoo-hah with the 7g2 showing accurate battery usage i'm a little nervous about this.
Anyone had the same / similar experience? Any ideas?
The only difference i've made to Bob's rom is adding Snakekiller's latest modified build.prop
Thanks as always
