Dropping support on a device they are still manufacturing and selling isn't going to happen.

111k is likely going to take longer since its mostly amlogic codec that needs fixing with some other more minor things.
That codec going to require quite a lot of work to get things running correctly so the next update going to take some more time then normal.

If that's the case would it still be the 111k4... Or would they just name it 112k4?
By that Token what would the y call the January 2015 Release? Surly 001k4 would become a bit confusing down the line say come a Year from now.

You talk about MXIII 2GB ?
If yes, I think it' a know issue at some MXIII 2GB with 109k4 at the moment (which they fixed already with a temporary 110k4 till the official 110k4 will be released)

Hopefully oman has time to debloat and release FW110k4 as well.
And of course the upcoming future releases...

And, here I thought that the 110k4 was Official....
In fact, knowing, what I know about the "110k4" its only reason for existence was to "fix" some broken BlueTooth Chips. On some 2G/8G S82 Models... Since that really is what 110k4 only does. The 1G/8G M82, which has no Bluetooth is stuck either at 108k4 (RTL8188), or 109k4 (AP-6181). Otherwise again they were more or less the same identical Firmware. Even if the Change Log would seem to suggest otherwise.

At least this is what I was told over at mbox.co.za...

Apropos deblot... I know that I can get rid or seemingly stupid things from 109k4...
Like the broken Skype App, the Music Player... (I would have preferred Google Music, but it seems I can't remove anymore Devices! fu--!), Quick Office.... (Really on the M82 which has no Bluetooth WHY!). Perhaps the Google Maps, and the Chinese Quick Search, and IME Apps as well...

That should net me 'round about a cool 50-ish MB of free space in /system/apps.

But, I was wondering is the TeleService.apk (i.e. The Dialpad Dialer?) safe to remove.. Under a normal (by which I meant a Phablet). This would be a boneheaded thing to to DUH!! But the M82... Or even the S82 FTM. ARE NOT Phablets! So why do we need to keep the Dialer App for?

I don't get it, why is the Netflix app not running smoothly as it did in 108k4. Why put out an updated firmware which screws up a simple app like Netflix?

I understand that we bought these boxes so we can enjoy XBMC etc... but Netflix is great app to use when you just want to put something for the kids to enjoy. It loads faster and no broken links to deal with.

I really hope that this Netflix issue is fixed in thenext update!

I only updated to 110k4 from 108k4 because in XBMC theLive TV preview window was off to the side, thinking that in 110k4 the codecs will be fixed and this issue will not exist. However, I was wrong. Not only is the preview window off to the side, but when in Live TV mode my XBMC freezes and I have to hard reboot, it is so annoying! Not only that but to find out that the Netflix is also screwed up!

I wish I didn’t make the update and kept it stock to108k4, but there is no way back now because I have the AP6181 module and the108k4 posted is for the RTL8188 boxes only.

Can someone please upload the Factory Original Firmware108k4 for the MXIII 1GB/8GB AP6181 modules???
How can we obtain this firmware? I emailed 4 times Beelinkand without 1 reply.

The problem is greediness, mass produce a product that semi-works, get people to buy it and then NO manufacturer support at all.

Netflix works great on the 106K4 build, all other builds and roms build on the Beelink stock roms after this just looks bad, haven't tried 108K4 yet. I see a lot of frame skips. Hope this can be fixed and I have reported this on the Google drive for Oman to take up with Beelink.
