Netflix won't ever be 1080p on these boxes because of netflix DRM. It is an android problem, not this box.

Also, have u tried netflix over WiFi instead of Ethernet? WiFi was better when i tried it.

Also, remote. Buy a better one lol. I have melee f10 pro, and it is amazing!!! Although you do need to use sound about app to get sound working.

Anyway. I use xbmc and showbox, as the quality is better than any netflix stream.

The best option is to use a Logitech Haronony Remote. With the cloned (Stock Remote Power Button), since this is the only Key that's physically Hardwired. Meaning that if you don't clone the Power Button as simply as "Power On" in the Harmony Software.. You can't repower the Device again.

Other then that the PIVOS Profile works like a champ on the M82 (MXIII), and unlike the Stock Remote I have full access to the Play, Pause, Stop RW & FF, as well as Previous, and Next Keys...

I need to probably modify the XBMC Keymap to finally get Record (Live TV) working... But, that shouldn't be to hard a task otherwise.

As far a Showbox goes.... I've tried MX Player, BS Player, and VLC Beta. Of all these, and the fact that the first Two are / were never able to pass though DD, DTS anyway. Much less "decode" it. I don't feel as cheated with VLC at the moment. But, they all pretty much suck at playing Showbox. Even though I have a 50Meg VDSL2 Line Showbox is always tearing, and laging vary hard. for me. Well mostly the TV Shows... The Movies OTOH, seem to play more or less fine, for me...

After one week of use box went dead. Flashed few times M82_107k4_1gddr_rtl8188 and M82_108k4_1gddr_rtl8188 but it did not work. After flashing FW i have Google TV screen then it get black. Disconnect box from power then i get it all the way to work for only one time. After that black screen again.
SD update doesn't work too. Tried both OTG and SD ports. Got reply: can't find /dev/block/mmcblk01
What are my other option?

AG?! or AP?! As in the AP-6181? I've been to that Website quite often of late, and I had never seen so much as a 109k4 (for the AP-6181), much less a 108k4 version for it. The Downloads Page for the MXIII only has the "Stock" 107k4 Version (for the M82 [1G Version RTL8188] , and the S82 [2G Version], as well as the aforementioned 108k4 RTL8188 Update, for the M82.

Paerhaps you could be Mr. Cool and post a direct link to this AG ~ AP thing you saw?

Getting slightly OT here... Can anyone else here get better then 65Mbps on their M82 (a.k.a 1G/8G MXIII's w/the AP6181? It seems that it should at least get as high as 72Mbps, like my Galaxy Tab. With its broken 5Ghz Firmware... As it is though I can't seem to shake past 65Mbps. And, though its likely just to be the source I'm trying to connect to... I'm lagging very badly with this Device on USTVNow, and Show Box.

I can only guess that this in the end effect must be the Source... In the case of Show Box at least. As Connecting a length of CAT-5 between the Router and, the M82 was just as laggy, if indeed not more so. As to the question of my "Connetion" I'm currently connected to a 50MB VDSL Line. And have constant transfers of up to 5.6MBps. On a good Server.

I'm wondering if My "problem" and that other Guys Netflix problems aren't somehow related?

There were two websites that posted the 110k4 update for the 1Gversion with AP6181, so it was not meant for just the 2G version.

Yes there is an update for Netflix in the googleplay store…and I tried it, but did not fix anything… same shiznits. This is a definite firmware issue, I hope there is a fix soon, and if there is a fix, will it be posted here???

Be that, as it may... first off I wouldn't trust such site to begin with. The Internet is full of Trolls that'll get a kick outta forking up other Peoples Equipment! Secondly I was TOLD by the People who actually wrote the damned Code at mbox.co.za, that the 110k9 Firmware was never ment to do anything for or against the 1G/8G AP6181 or other MXIII.

This is correct. 110K4 was to fix Bluetooth issues on this box ONLY...

Netflix was awesome on 107K4 and 108K4 ... 109K4 no good and just as bad on 110K4 for MXIII BT issues. All custom roms based on 109 onwards have the same Netflix issues as the stock Beelink fw had the issue.

I agree! I am on the same boat. I see the difference, I used to be on 108k4 and Netflix was brilliant. Now with 109 and 110 it SUCKS! The problem is being on AP6181 1G so I can't get back to 108k4

I hope this gets fixed as this is it needs to as this is what I use my box for and for watching videos. Maybe we get a 111? 😄

Which begs a very simple question.... How [REDATCTED] hard is it for you to download the stock Three File SDCard, 108k4 Firmware (RTL8188 ONLY!), and unpack that to a Temp Directory.... Let us call it 108k4... then Dito on that with the 109k4 (AP-8681 ONLY) Firmware...

Only now you take the WiFi Firmware Files located at /system/etc/wifi....* (From the: k200-ota-20140917.zip a.k.a the 109k4 Firmware),

Then Deleating all the Files from this Location in the 108k4 Firmware. replace those Files with the Ones form the 109k4 Version, rezip it then flash?

I for One wouldn't be suprised if thats how it wasn't done to start with....

Since I've nothing further to loose with GMusic being as nuked with useless MBX Boxes as it is... I may even give this a shot myself. After I get done watching my Shows, and having some dinner to boot.
But that's One way to make those with either an old fasioned 108 happy, or those with reportedly poorer expereances with 109 onwards happyier. Even if as I understand it there's no real difference in any of these "Versions" Sans for major Hardware revisions... 108 for the RTL-8188. 109 for the AP-6181, and 110 for whichever 2G Boxes had the reportedly flaky BlueTooth.

It's only a shame that I was unable to turly able to make a Nandroid Backup, before nearly perma-bricking the Device. On some S82 Firmware. But, not being a Netflix Subscribler. Much less to the vastly supiorior Geo-LOCKED US Version of it... I really have nothing to add about its State here in Germany. And perhaps being a cheap [REDACTED] that I am. I tend to find that Show Box more or less can get the same job done. WITHOUT THE SUBSRIPTION!!

And just One other thing about the amcodec... If that is even half as great as all that.... Then WTF do we need to bother with crap like the MX Player for? Its truly lamentable how far that perticular peice of Software managed to fall in the short space of a Week (or so now!). Not that its faux AC3/DTS was anything to write home about anyway.

AC3, and or DTS aside. It laggs the hardest of all when it comes to streaming stuff of the net. For the moment. I'd have to say that the VLC Player is perhaps the better Player... I know right?!
That's how far down MX Player has sunk IMHO!

One other thing, how exactly does the Netflix App actually work? Is it like the NetFlix App that was recently on XBMC... (I can't seem to find it anymore!)
That needs to call up Chrome to play its DRM-infested pile back at you? Or is that self-contained in the *.apk? Perhpas you might want to look there as well?
