Is there any 7.8 -8 inch tablet with 3G and Retina display which has better quality than Pipo P8?

The white p8 I have seems fine. Only thing I want is the battery to be a little bit better.

Hi all,

I'm so lucky to have found this forum. I was looking to buy a pipo p7 with a rk3288 for $127 usd. It seems like a really good price for the specs you are getting. But after reading all the issues and bugs with the tablet I decided to halt my purchase. Looks like I need more info about these Chinese tablets. I can't seem to find any reviews on the pipo p7. I'm assuming it is too new? What do you guys think about the pipo p7? Does it have all the issues and bugs like the pipo p1 and m6? I read that the p7 is basically a m8 pro with an upgraded cpu and gpu.

Should I consider other brand tablets instead like the cube? I heard its really solid but they are expensive costing about 300 dollars for me

Well i've been reading about the P series here with battery issues which is a big concern for me and some bugs with deep sleep. I assume the same bugs also happen on the P7 because the P7 is basically a M8 with an upgraded CPU/GPU. I actually can't find any reviews on the P7 directly.

The P9 and P1 as far as I know don't have battery problems. The P8 is reported to have those...and some have said the P4 had some, but I'm not seeing it on my P4.

Nobody with a P7 has reported their experience.

Randy, the thruth is that many users have had MANY issues with P1, and one of the worst is that after a complete discharge it was almost impossible to recharge battery again, you obviously know that...

With D33 entering the RK3288 world, it's possible we can have some kernel upgrades for each of the P series tablets.

I've got a touch panel problem on my P1, so it's been a while since I've used it. I need to pop the hood and see if it's an adjustment I need to make in the ribbon cable...or something...but typing is a huge pain in the ass right now on it.

My P9 is still the best tablet I've ever touched...I find myself picking it up more than all of the others.
