ART ? CWM

A few hours later everything's still fine

Would ART work instead of Dalvik ?
I'd like to try, but with a backup...

I can't get to boot to CWM :
Power + Vol- gives me a chinese recovery (is it CWM, but in chinese ?)
Power + Vol+ does nothing

Any idea ?

And CWM is flashed? If it is necessary to perform the following steps.
First you have to press the power button, and then press the Volume + and hold until a menu appears.
Recovery Mode
Fastboot Mode
Normal Mode
Uart Mode
Then click (+) Volume select the menu item. (-)Volume button to enter the selected mode

I normally get to recovery by opening a terminal and entering

su
reboot recovery

This can be done either via adb or from a terminal on the tablet

I've included a cwm recovery with the ROM but it is not flashed be default. You can flash just the cwm recovery on its own, check the documents included with the ROM.

you can flash a cwm by 'MTK Droid Tools'. Must only be full rooted, then you get it with two "clicks"

Thank you, Brian. Not everyone knows how to use the terminal. Many do not even know what the ADB. My manual for novice users.
And CWM I flashed immediately with the installation of ROM. I chose the option of recovery_rua1_CWM.img in FlashTool and flashed.

I've updated the first post to add and cwm update zip that adjusts permissions on the external sd card. download, save to one od the sdcards (internal or external) and then flash from Clock Work Mod recovery.

Got the same error. Working SD-Card fix by using 'xposed framework' and 'Gravity Box KK'. Think Gravity Box got many usefull settings for this tablet... :-)

*** Sorry , it's an extra module inside xposed called "KitKat SD Card Full Access"

I suspect its possible. I'd need to do some research on this.

I've started looking into carliv's touch recovery but as the screen resolution is not currently supported I'll have to setup a cm 10.1 built environment.
