Good news!

How can we edit kernel and add new governers. Is mediatek going to release android aosp sources. If we can only get sources from mtk i am pretty sure developers at the xda will make this tablet more customisable more tweaked in terms performance and battery life.

Lepi and 900Supersport awesome job. Thank you for modd recovery and custom rom.

I read the comments on the forum bbs. 51 ... that with this rom return problems with busybox and, unless I misunderstood, the chrome browser still does not work ... it's a pity, we hope you find the solution soon.

Very uncertain if the upgrade of firmware as decribed her http://www.freaktab.com/attachment.p...0&d=1403460587 wil still keep the write access to microSD. Which I happily get yesterday using your ZIP from post #1.

btw, only one little headache after reboot: Google Play stop working. It opens, see the green header line, can search for apps, but that's it. The circle circles forever ... Solution was to delete all data (via Settings-Apps)

I don't think art is working on this ROM. On my nexus 4 when I select art from developers menu phone will restart and there is splash screen showing you the status of apps being optimized and it takes a while before boot. After boot everything is snappyer and faster.On cube it only restart without splash screen. It never apply art optimizations. In developer's menu art is checked. Is this bug or art is completely disabled?

I tried too, exact same result here, and saw no difference using this "art" instead of dalvik

And with mali450 GPU I don't see why the graphics are so choppy when you swipe home screen. Maybe kernel related. Default governed is hotplug. I try trickster mod to set different governors and its about the same. Even antutu scores are 500 points +-.
We need kernel with more options than stock.

i suppose the same about the kernel.
i may have reduced this little choppiness using developers options : reduce effects/animations scales, force gpu rendering. I'm no android expert, any dev opinion about it ?

Remains of chinese language when using other language

When using Next Browser, settings, check for updates, the popup shows chinese instead of my language.
I've seen a chinese message too using tapatalk, setting a forum account.

May this be cube or this rom related ? Or related to the user

I think, dear Brian, remove all of the Chinese from 1.8 and firmware to optimize for grateful users. I too am waiting mod look from Brian.

Unfortunately cube have gone for iPhone style icons. First post includes cwm zips for external SD card fix and adjusting the memory usage to give 6 gigs available for apps.
