I wouldn't give up so quick. Hit goggle and see if you can find any other leads.

I've probably flashed my u65gt 15 to 20 times and will add a few more to that today working firmware 1.8 and have never had any issues with imei. Did you just follow my instructions and use download, or did you format and download?

I format all and download like i said to Lepi.

I have a IMEI.bak i create after flashing my tab, but not working with mobile uncletools, it doesn't see the file for restore.
I try with "IMEI & SN writer", "MauiMETA-3g" but they can't detected my phone and with MTK droid tools I can't push the "IMEI/NVRAM" button and it's IMEI 1 : null.

Is mobile uncle running as root? Where is the backup internal or external sdcard? If external try and copy to internal.

Strange. I can easily restore IMEI with MobileUncle Tools. IMEI.bak put on SD card and clicked IMEI Backup Restore (MTK)

Will do, I'd suspect your existing twrp will probably work anyway. Will let you know when I have it.

Thank you, Brian. No longer needed. Root install with UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.00.zip . No problem.

when I got similar problems with my pipo m6pro I used this app:

It worked well, even if used when not fully charged.
