PCB Version/revisions cs918 and T-r42

I bought this box as my secondary box - my primary is a minix h-8 plus...

I know that I cant compare the 2 in any way, shape, or form but I still would like to get the most out of my secondary ofcourse.

The updates buttons are bringing my no luck.

What I would like to get is:
-any available updates for the chip, system, software, etc.
-maybe a custom rom (the current one suck)

Apparently it is a RK3188 CS918

there is no stickers on the bottom or anywhere else on the outside.

Hi friends, i am trying to unroot my CS918 Android TV Box.
It has RT3188 chip, with Android 4.4.2, wifi and bluetooth, but i can not unroot it. I tried to delete "su" and "busybox" files with es file explorer but i can not delete or rename them.
Is there any other way to solve this, or should i flash a new rom. And if so, can you tell me what is the correct final rom working for this device? Also do i need to get a backup of the existing rom first for safety?
