Did you change back the permissions of the key file after copying? The file should have the same permissions as the other key files. And also a reboot can help.

Looks fastreboot does not fix the issue, after plugging out the power cord the mouse works now with the new keylayout.

Found some other issues:

So found so far:

- Sleep not working
- 1080 play back in Beyond XBMC >> hurrible... looks like watching a movie in slomotion.
- Mele Mouse keymap << FIXED>>

For 1080 play back use the included SPMC and use libstagefright for hardware acceleration.

For now it's only the X5. (I don't have a G4 to test the kernels.)

I think the kernel should be the same as X5, but with different Wi-Fi driver and no Bluetooth.
I'm ready to test it for you.

I have tested some 1080p movies (x264) and they play fine using the 720p version of the firmware. Did you use the included SPMC?

Yes I use spmc but I use also the 1080p firmware

Have you tried MX player? Does that work? On my X5 MX player also runs fine.
If it doesn't work on the 1080p firmware you should really think about going back to 720p firmware.

SPMC works much better indeed for 1080 p movies.
regarding the sleep function do you have any idea? Also Might be a stupid question but how can i remove Icons from my screen, normally select and move to the X Area but now it does not appear.

Hi Karel, SPMC works fine with 1080p. any idea about the Sleep Function and the Icons to be removed from the screen ?

No reboots so far really great!

Headphone not working

Enabling the headphone in the kernel gives a conflict with the HDMI and Optical out. Therefore i kept it out.
