I will asap try a kernel @ 1608 (not low, normal version which should already be downvolted compared to stock, right? ) and boot.img.

So I test my modified boot.img with the same kernel.

It appears that 3D test has a little improvement.

With Antutu, I see with Randy boot.img I've got an average of 4010 pts in GPU 3D test. (very near result)

With mine, I've got an average of 4150 pts (up to 4290 pts one time and not so near result each time)


And, when running test, I see that Fps has reached 21.7 FPS with Randy'one and only 20.9 with mine !

So I will let you experiment by yourself !

I have tried your boot.img and got 22.4 FPS and 4169 pts in the gpu 3d test thanks for sharing your work

Using new boot.img and kernel 1608_hmin ddr at 667:

stable, good performance (results are around what expected... maybe a little lower in 3d)

Battery performance still to be tested thoroughly...

As of now everything seems really very very good!

It's almost excellent firmware!
But I have two questions:
- Why not disconnected screen tablet when connecting HDMI? Although the settings allow this.
- Why does not working swipe to hide panel touch buttons?
Maybe it needs to be fixed?

You can use the app screen standby root for turning off when HDMI is on.

And a xposed module for hidding bars: gravity box. Use the expanded desktop mode : I am using immersive mode.

Hey!
First of all, thank you for creating this rom. Amazing difference compare to the stock. Actually, i dont understand why the stock isnt like this. It fixed many of my problems: wifi was shit, ui smoothness wasnt so good, videoplayback also: 1080p movies lagged in every player except rkmovieplyr. Well, i knew that the tablet itself is good,just the stock is not that good.

I have few qquestions,if u dont mind.
Why isnt therr an option to hide the statusbar? Im missin itt,so much(in gaming,viewing docs..andso)
And why isnt there the multiwindowmode?

Early Jellybean ROMs had both options. Both went away with KitKat.

I have noticed both of those features have appeared again in the RK3288 ROMs.

With this Rom, games and some apps are playing in fullscreen automatically.

It's a feature of KitKat that has been correctly set in this rom.

Use gravity box , immersive mode for every app.
