I fink you need ask people who compiled the MTK kernels to make goodix.ko modules with included gt 928 firmware in default mode . Then load goodix.ko with your stok kernel , after modules flash your firmware to chip unload KO . Thats all .

I also regret that I spent too much time in the resuscitation the touchscreen. Presented the tablet friend, the advanced developer. I hope he can handle it. Or also can not handle.

Camera not working

Hi all

anybody else with the error "can't connect to camera" ?
tried all the different roms posted here (firmwres 1.3,1.6 and 1.8) but none could make the camer to work.

Only once i manged to take one photo, after that Always same error message.

Any ideas? Someone else with same problem?

I never read so, imho this is a hardware problem rather than software.

I was using stock rom from cube site. Then i flashed bryan`s custom 1.8 rom....But for the stability i flashed back to the stock china firmware. Only changed language under setting tab.
I have nexus 5. I like pure AOSP style phone.
When i created this rom i wanted to have same look as my Nexus 5 phone. This is why i integrated Stock Google apps. All of them are working but the Google Chrome. This is Cube bug and i can`t fix it. Everything works fine.
I did it and i dont have any problems with it.

Below is the response I've got , so far , from CUBE AUSTRALIA.
It contains a link to some old Firmware that was shipped with U65GT's to Australia.
We should hear more news from them when I clarify the touch screen issue for them.
I don't think the technician has looked into this yet?

”I have a good news for you. Seems I have solved all the issues.

A bit background first
In Australia market, we have two rom versions, one is the V1.0 which is in your first tablet, and the other is v1.3 which is in your second tablet, technician just simply changed the v1.3 language into English.

Ok, your issues first:
1) Long time boot issue
The V1.0 is a stable version, the long boot issue might be caused by improper recovery by our technician due to different driver installed. So, just re-flash the romv1.0, and the issue should be solved. I have now upload a full firmware package, v1.0 20140528, onto Google Drive, path:https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8u...it?usp=sharing
This package includes full drivers, rom(v1.0), SP flash tool(should have no difference with other MTK flash tools) and an English Operating Manual! You can now start to download it!

2) Customised v1.8 on your second tablet
All v1.3 Chinese version onward are customised to serve the Chinese market, they have certain bundle apps installed. It is not recommended to be used. Therefore I suggest you to flash it back to v1.0.

Now, issues on Freaktab forum
1) Cool ui v3 black screen issue
This should be caused by a) the missing file in the rom package, and most important reason b) the drivers. Please see my V1.0 package, in which there is a full package of drivers for MTK8392/6592 in Windows XP/Vista/Win7/Win8-32bit/64bit. Now, how to recovery the 'dead' tablet:

a) connect the tablet with your PC by USB cable
b) open 'Device Manager', there should be an 'unknown device' showed up
c) install the drivers for this device by selecting the RIGHT driver
d) the driver should now be installed and the device is shown in 'Port (COM and LPT)' and the device name might be 'MTK xxxx port'
e) now you can flash the device under the normal step......
f) finger crossed...

In conclusion
All the issues above are most likely due to wrong MTK driver installed. Once you installed the right driver on your computer, it should be OK to flash any rom. This can also explain why you cannot use flash tools at first time. Also, to all 9x users, we suggest you install v1.0 only at the moment. Once we have the later Official English version for 9x, I believe it should have, we will release it any let your guys know at first instance. Meanwhile, if you find any issue in using v1.0, please let us know, we will improve it.

FOR ALL OF YOU HAVING PROBLEM WITH TOUCHSCREEN NOT FUNCTIONING AFTER FLASHING MY ROM HERE IS MY FIX.
TESTED ONLY ON CUBE TALK 9X WHITE/BLACK

-Takes only about 20 minutes if you follow this steps
**make sure you have a working backup of nvram.bin from your tablet**
**must be familiar with use of SP FLASH TOOL**
**tablet should be fully charged or at least 40% battery life left**
**Backup all your data from the tablet on the pc**

1.Download first https://drive.google.com/uc?id=0B5za...xport=download
2.Extract downloaded file to your drive c:
3.Open extracted folder and you will see 3 folders inside Drivers,SP FLASH TOOL AND STOCK CHINA FIRMWARE
4.Install the drivers depending of your system X86 or X64.
5.IF YOU RUN WINDOWS 8 .DRIVER SIGNING POLICY MODE MUST BE DISABLED IN ORDER TO INSTALL DRIVERS CORRECTLY OR FLASH TOOL WON`T WORK link here http://thephuck.com/end-user-computi...-in-windows-8/

6. By now you guys should have drivers installed and we can move on
7. Open folder U65GT_V1.8_20140704 STOCK CHINA FIRMWARE and place your copy of nvram.bin
8. Now we are ready for SP FLASH TOOL but before we start make sure the battery is at least 40% charged and make sure all your files from internal memory are saved and transfered to your PC.
9. This proces will erase all data files and partitions from your tablet.
10. Power off the tablet
11.Open folder SP FLASH TOOL MODD
12. Right click on flash_tool.exe RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR
13. Answer Yes in popup window
13. SP FLASH TOOL will start with error message scatter file not found... JUST CLICK OK
14.Click on the box Scatter-Loading and select scatter file from folder U65GT_V1.8_20140704 STOCK CHINA FIRMWARE
15.When the list of files is loaded make sure everything is checked in check box including NVRAM
16. Select Format All+Download
17. Press Download and wait a few seconds
18.Connect your tablet to usb port and wait process to complete
19.When done wait for a minute and power on tablet
20. Thats it you are back on stock china firmware 1.8
21. From here you can flash files throught recovery or whatever else.

I HAVE REMOVED DOWNLOADING LINKS FOR MY FIRMWARE AND WE WILL BE BACK SOON WITH MORE OPTIMISED FIRMWARE AND HOPEFULLY CHROME BUG FIX
