After i load the scatter,if i press download,i receive this message.
I don't know what to add there.[ATTACH=CONFIG]8448[/ATTACH]

At the flash tool folder there are 3 BIN files. Select "MTK_AllInOne_DA.bin" file with the Button browse.

Hi again

I did it finally!! I managed to root the Chuwi VX8 MTK8127 with the latest Vroot version!!! VRoot_1.7.9.9730_Setup.exe...use the chinese not the english version.

Later you can replace the Vroot admin App, with SuperSU, ...just from Play Store and uninstalling all the chines app you don't need ( I used Root Unisntalller), beware not to install "DeviceTest_MTK.apk" an App with a Blue Wrench Icon, I don't know whether it's needed or nor by the OS, so just leave it for your own sake.

If are having problem replacing Vroot with SuperSU, just follow this link .

Now I'm begining to feel very happy with this Chuwi...

DQ8 works in this tablet! ;-) I've just tested it...
Perhaps, It could be more fluid, but in anycase It's completely playable.

OK,i received yesterday my beautiful tablet.
Installed Riley rom without a proble,everithing works perfect(including DQ8 :P )
One question i have:it's better to use ART(for games) ,or i can stai on Dalvik?

I recommend staying on Dalvik. There are some compatibility issues running apps in ART.

You can try ART and see if you have problems with apps disappearing from your tablet. The problem is that some apps aren't designed to run in ART and won't show up in the app drawer.

Wow,i don't want my apps disppearing,so i will stay on Dalvik
BTW,i still wait for CWM(and no new rom?)

Someone a lot smarter than me will have to come up with a CWM. I can't get any of my tools/scripts to work with this stock recovery....it fails every time. I couldn't even do it manually.

If anyone runs across an update stock firmware from Chuwi, send me a link and I will make a new ROM.

Ok Riley,i will wait for the other guy to make the CWM.
Meanwile i will stick with your great rom
If i'll have news about a newer rom i will post here(me or another one who have this tablet?)
