Great! Thank you for the reply. On November 11th Aliexpress is having some kind of sale so I might buy it then.

Also there is a similar tablet Vido M80 but there are not a lot of reviews on the internet. Something on Zol.com a bit

check mboth Ali and Pandawill to compare the price.
I know nothing about Vido.I understand that Chuwi is a respectable company in China, producing very good stuff.
The only problem in China is quality control, u have to insist on what to be checked thoroughly,so do it w/out remorse and u'll have the best product.

The error I got... when trying to set Download-Agent to MTK_AllInOne_DA.bin, "BROM ERROR: S_FTHND_FILE_LOAD_FAIL (5008)"

Then I tried to use your MTK_AllInOne_DA.bin, it accepts it. Another problem arise when choosing the scatter-loading File.
Tried the file I sent you, give me an Empty Error Window Popup.
Tried using your scatter file...it also give me an empty error Window Popup.

Now I am contacting seller to give me new Firmware... or whatever she can find.

Try first to do Firmware Upgrade with the ROM you want.
If this will not solve your problem, try to Download first ONLY the PRELOADER and then Download the REST files.

As i said before,it looks that no other cable beside the one provided will work.
              Why it beats me.
Ask the guys from where u bought it.

The unique thing about the stock USB cable is that the micro end has a longer connector to reach further into the case. While other cables might make a connection, you REALLY need the best connection to flash or do anything you need a reliable connection for.

Aha,so the connector is the problem

Hmmmm....i have to look in the city for another otg cable, cause i don't want to make an order only for a cable

how to swap internal SD (usb storage) with external sdcard

                    Hi,
I would like to ask if somebody succeed to swap external with internal storage. I flashed RileyROM 1.1, but when I am installing any application, its always installed to the USB STORAGE (internal storage), does not matter how are the settings under Settings>Storage.
I checked some system files, and looks like modification of links in the /init* files can solve this issue (swap sdcard1 with sdcard0). Problem is, that these files are overwritten with default after each reboot, and to take modifications in these files in the account you need to reboot, so ... (if I am right).
Looks like boot.img need to be modified for this. Does anyone know how to do that? Will it work after? Is there any cksum check?
                    Thanks for info and help.

At the bottom of post #1 is a link to download an alternate boot.img that will swap internal and external SD.

                          I don't have one of these tablets...so I can't test it.

Please try it out and report your experience.

I just reflashed rom 1.1 from page #1, but I specified this modified boot.img in the Flash Tool and all looks as I was expecting, even in the settings is now "USB Storage" 16GB (mine external SD card) and "SD CARD" is 3.98GB (internal one). I will try to install some apps that are install partially on SDCARD, like games (Asphalt 8), to see if all works.
Thanks a lot for this modification, I think now this tablet is much more usable than before.

If somebody is interested, GPS reception on this tablet is poor (like on many chinese phones that I had before (Jiayu, Zopo, ...), maybe it works if I am outside somewhere with no buildings (not tested yet), but inside, near to window (where TCL Idol X catch GPS fast and without problems), I can see only one satellite, nothing else. Maybe I will try to play with some GPS settings, if it will help.

                                Thanks again for help.
