SPMC test all files even 3d Bluray playing fine without stutter or issue all 4K files play without issue unlike XBMC,HDMI 2.0 NOT /60 not working through SPMC but files appear then disapear..but it can play all the 4k files without issue.
Xunity and istream builds tested and working,Mashup and XBMC hub addons all perfect playback quality is exellent and smooth.
Although Kodi Nightly build has cracked a number of issues in regards to HEVC,4K etc i really like SPMC as the Primary player for R89..it really is a jack of all trades reagrding file, codec and support.

109k4 (test)

Shit, no way to reproduce this issue... no no, just kidding
It seams you have done a really nice job, because SPMC before 109k4 needs a long time to close (exit) and now it's really fast, also the same at MX...
BTW:
- nice mouse cursor
- first I got a problem to use ADB because MTD was selected...
- which driver for MTD do I need (or is it part of the driver_kit which I don't use because drivers are already installed because of rk3188)?RK3288 Devices

but the funny thing is, that SPMC plays the 1080p much better than the "forbidden" Chinese version
But the best player is MX Pro (the same like the different stock player but also audio at ac3 (DD) and DTS(-HD)...) it eats alland better than SPMC (e.g. big bunny 60 fps)...

Having read all through the thread over at XBMC, I found what are supposed to be 2 versions of this modded ROM.
Neither had the hardware acceleration setting present, or even anything for DTS/Dolby like the Kodi Helix Alpha nightly builds do.
I had been testing just about every variety of XBMC/Kodi with my R28 and SPMC was, overall the best, although no DTS support, with the Kodi Helix Alpha 4 nightly build of September 15 coming a close second but having DTS support.
Testing my whole range of test video files with these modded builds, they didn't really impress me.
Agree that MX player pro plays most of what you throw at it very well.R-TV BOX S10, Beebox N3150, Chuwi Hibox, Nvidia Shield, A95X Max
