Different set of test keys.
However after applying the update it keeps rebooting into recovery and installing again.
the clear_misc command does not seem to be working.
But making progress

I made a EZ_root.zip which does work and roots the stock HPH ROM or 107K4 (which I know is already rooted.
So it does somewhat work. Remember I am using the stock recovery. The update-binary I am talking about is what processes the update.zip script. I am not talking about anything inside recovery.

HOW TO FLASH from SDcard
OK the stock recovery CAN flash the ROM Oman uploaded. e.g. the large IMG file.
Instructions:
1) You will need an IR remote. The one I got with the HPH works but the power button is select not the OK button.
2) download OMan's 107K4 from the posts here.
3) rename it to update.img
4) copy it to SDcard.
5) reboot into the recovery menu (using reboot app or whatever).
6) from the menu select "update rkimage from external storage".
7) It will flash the ROM then select reboot.
If you want to erase, then select factory reset before selecting reboot.

Bobdoes that mean there's no need for update.zip's, can your future ROMS be made into a single img for flashing or will we need to use the tool?

Now the bad news about a update.zip.
I can make update.zip that will do things like install files to /system for rooting, or patching, etc.
However the stock recovery has limitations. You cannot use a edify updater script to format /data or clear /misc so you don't keep booting into recovery. As a work around if your in recovery menu and stuck in a recovery boot loop, wiping cache ONLY will allow you to boot. Odd that I cannot format cache from the edify script but some protection is there in recovery....
I can probably modify recovery but then what good is that as you need a flash tool to replace the stock recovery.

One thing I've learnt from this... Atm TWRP is pretty much useless for this device ATM anyway, other then for quick nandroid backups and restores, and I can't quite vouch for its reliability there for the time being untill Abdul updates the partitions. This is because it fails to flash current FW update.zips and more so because said version doesn't support img flashing. CWM on the other hand would be great..... If only.....
