I asked Mediaman if he could implement gamepad support on another forum and he asked me to be a tester. Mediaman than kept me updated in private message and sent me the link to test when his gaming edition ROM went public. Mediaman said no donation was needed as it was a hobby and you can even read that on Mediaman's forums. When other members asked where can I donate for your Rom Mediaman, he just said no thanks.

Not trying to add fuel to an already burning topic, but I am a little confused.

The subscription notion for a start. Not sure about anyone else but all I'm looking for is a ROM which works. Period.I'm really not interested in reflashing a rom every month just so I try a new (or no) launcher and some cheesy start animation etc. I don't ever want to see cheesy start animation actually.

So why subscribe? Is it to keep justme in beer while he gets it right? In that case why not just skip to someone else's rom which actually works well now.

I'm sorry, I forgot you can't pay $10 monthly, it's a subscription service like Netflix except you get one ROM a month for $30. Luckily all your Roms are bug free and deserving of $10 per Rom hahaha

When other developers ask a monthly subscription or $10 per rom to use said Roms than I'll retract all previous statements but until that time comes...

Well said buddy. JustMe Netflix ROM service is not ready for primetime lol. I can't believe people fall for scam artists like this but unfortunately it's all to common.


JustMe doesn't even deserve a beer because obviously it's doing nothing but hampering his decision making process. I'm not sure that his decision making process has ever been worthy though. First, Justme can do what he likes about his ROMs. The community will decide if they support paying or not! This is NOT a freaktab thing or a sponsored by freaktab thing! Stop trying to make that tie. It's his time and if he wants to charge, Freaktab has nothing to do with it. My opinion is this probably wont fly but again, his time his dime! Don't like it, don't read about it or pay for it... Pretty freakin simple!

Now, one thing that is not tolerated here is name calling, crap slinging and constant nagging and bashing!!!

And do not try to drag Freaktab's ideas into this claiming what a shame we are supporting this. We are not supporting it. We are neutral! We support all users, Dev's etc. If a Dev decides to charge why do we care? Only the community will decide! But that is by the wallet NOT this BS stuff going on here!

Finally, Justme..... Personally I think your idea wont fly with users. Maybe for resellers. However your getting on the edge of commercialism. No commercial company gets a free ride here as it is unfair to other commercial companies paying for Ads here. While we have no one right now commercially selling ROM work, you maybe the first. Depending on how this goes, I may have to have you advertise here as in the end you would be using Freaktab for commercial gain. Again this is new ground your breaking so this will be a wait and see.
