To be honest I have only looked at amlogic and RK as there is bigger community available and support

Date Setting.... mm/dd/yyyy ? time zone is set AU.

I just put it on top (did not wipe)of what ever Rom was on my M8, think it was Stanes picked up every thing, updated apps in a few minutes easy.

The Aldi box was a ATM7029 CPU 1.2 Tad slow...but it works for what it was, $au59

You mean the m8n ?

Yes, the M8N. For me, that's the high point, though anyone should feel pleased (and lucky) to run your Oman port. It's smooth, Ethernet delivers (around 93 mbps) and that launcher is a most interesting change. Factory reset post-flash is a must.

- delete date , clear caches for both Play Store and Services.

you sure it is not the google speech to text that crashes, you can load google playstore even if it crashes and just update it.

Try intalling these 2 apk's put them on a sd or thumb drive

Box does not turn on with remote....

Play Store resolved itself when I did a full reset after installing the ROM (my bad didn't follow install instructions )

Only issue now is the box goes to sleep with the Power Button on the remote and if the TV is turned off (CEC) , but fails to wake up (no signal and no blue light).

Tried with both CEC turned off and turned on.

Tried a couple of different remote that used to work with V1.1. , only work around is pulling and replugging power.

Box is a V0.92

Update:

Suspend mode only lasts for about a minute... after that box powers off .

Resorted to powering the box from a USB port on the TV that is powered when the TV is on....

Looking forward to the fix from JustMe! Otherwise XBMC (my main use for this box seems to be flawless for both local and internet streaming).

I've got TWRP install and it won't back up Data (back up size is enormously incorrect and android donotpanic folder cannot be backed up) - minor problem.

THis ROM is defiantly a keeper!

ok I have solution which works I will re upload 109k4 with updated files. been testing the method and it works great.

Probably won't have this up for at least 2.5hrs

Boot, Cat image Pixelated line below the eyes any one else see this. (bothers the wife)
