I bricked the TRMK1 95% finished rom after i received it 1 week later, i can only think of 2 things I did that may of bricked it afterwards . maybe when i get time over the break i will have closer look. kind of kills your heart in way.

Hi Guys,

I keep getting this every time it starts to load. It has been working fine for a while now. Even if I install new from recovery.

• I have wiped data/ cache from recovery.
• Installed 4.97.1 but this just hangs on the shown screen, but with not writing to the left.
• Installed 4.2.1 and get this error message

It is a droidbox iMX6. (G18 (G18REF, Matricom MX2, Generic Droid-TV) with Amlogic 8726MX SoC).

Hope someone can help me resolve this.

Doss this Openelec build - 4.97.1.zip RC1 for Ott M8 2gb have CEC compatibility?

sorted now..My Bad..was on hdmi 4 not Anynet+ connect which enables CEC on this Tv working Thanks!!

Hello. And thanks codesnake for the great effort.

I want to ask if there is a solution for my current problem. When i turn on the m8 box by the remote control it does goes on but i am getting no signal on tv. And the second problem is a lot of times when i restart the box i am getting stuck on bootlogo. Is there a fix for that or i have to wait for the new release of the firmware.

Guys anyone has a solution for that? I got today the same problem when i unplug it from the power and put it back.I dont think this is normal? And i dont wanna go back to android. Linux is much faster , reliable, stable , no problems with passthrough etc.

how can the guy who brought you great rom develop further after he admited he bricked his device has anyone sent him a box to continue development for his great efforts and priceless hours he has spent

please donate to the guy for futhur rom development since it nearing kodi stable

people do not understand the 12+ hr days to create a almost perfect rom for the community and in return what does the developer get for his efforts???? peanuts

but yet the one that cry loud are the box sellers because their customer cry loud to them

it make me wonder some times

raise some money for the guy for new box or 2 in case he bricks another one he has spare

sorry if i pushing or supporting devs but i think they get little appreciation and money for their efforts

I have strong feeling for this as the old saying goes "don't bite the hand that feeds you"
