hi just put on Codesnake OpenELEC Rom b3 but now only boots to openelec screen then says cant load. there is wrighting saying type exit with keyboard i have done that but wont load up . trid to get back into upgrade with pin holding in but it wont go in to reset just go,s back to openelec screen is there a way to unlock box from in side with pins trmk1 thanks any way to unlock thanks

Can any one help with my problem from last week?

I have the same problem. I've tried installing on two different mx boxes and the same thing has happened.
It installs fine i can set everything up and all the add ons work fine but once i turn it off and back on i get the same screen as shown in dukes post. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all.... mine is stock on red light. tried every recovery image I can find, for The MX... But no success. I have been trying for 5 days, with zero results. I gave up. Any recommendation on a box that works on openelec with no problems. There is this box....but I Am AFRAID it might be the same failure.

Registered just to thank Codesnake for his great Open Elec build, it has turned my M8 into a proper XBMC machine.

I am using the Kod RC1 OE, have you plans to develop this further?

I've used the TV110 image

It is all working... except those 2 factors
1 - 10/100 only on network not 1000
2 - Sound is hit and miss. Pass through is causing issues on some. The problem is occurring when playing back a high def file with dts/ac3 sound.

I don't know if this is meant for a 802....805...or whatever. The fact is that it is performing brilliantly (much snappier than android) - along with the fact I can set the resolution to adjust to match the file played.

Any ideas?

Setup Wizard hangs on Network screen

After installing OpenELEC on an MX2 the setup wizard hangs on the Network screen. The screen stays blank and the Next button is inactive.

Who knows how to solve this?

Sorry I don't have mx box but are you sure you installed the correct file for your box?
i personally would start over, re download the file and flash it flash it again.
if using auto flash files I would first > recovery and factory reset and then clean cache then try auto flash it

Thanks Foz. Sorry for not mentioning this in my post but I already tried that. Result stays the same. Wizard just freezes at the Network part.
