I have SONY 36 Inch TV on Wasser version 2.0.2 / 2.0.3 screen resolution is too big on my TV screen. I edited build.prop from ro.sf.lcd_density=240 to 200 using Build Prop Editor, but didn't work..Am i doing anything wrong?
I'm not exactly sure if 200dpi density is "proper". I set my box to 160 dpi. You can check it beforehand setting it in "stone" (build.prop) by executing terminal command: "wm density 160". Only remeber that system bar will not be update to this density automaticaly.

Wasser , dear brother , there are many sample mkv videos with DTS audio output... kindly try any with spdif passthrough in android audio settings using an optical cable. blessings bro... by the way , if it wasn't for this issue i would consider this rom the best ever... thanks for the extreme effort and patience.

        Hi Wasser!

Currently enjoying your 2.0.2 FW: a HUGE upgrade from 110k. Will look to install 2.0.3 later this afternoon. My main concern is that none of the ROM's seem to be able to fix Comcast's XFINITY TV Go app "3001::Error" which appears to be different from what other Live Streaming App users are experiencing.

The XFINITY app works flawlessly for about 5-20 minutes until I get a "time-out" error which requires me to log out and log back in again (very annoying). The ESPN app works for an hour straight sometimes before it throws "unfortunately the app has stopped working..." I don't think it's a DRM issue since the rooted M8 (tomato) has no problems with this app. I've tried all the other little tricks to no avail.

Please let me know what I can do to assist you. Logs?

            can't download cpu2000ddr700gpu600, maybe it's uploading?

            btw are those OC safe?

edit: something wrong with last OC link but I figured it out, but inside the file it says cpu2000-ddr600-gpu600, not ddr700?

              Download url is fixed.

OC kernel is never safe! I don't recommend to oc kernel. I uploaded them because some users want to overlock the kernel. And i expect they should know that.

Installed wasser 2.0.3 on my tronsmart r28 pro

                    Pro
                    Nice boot animation

                    Fast menu

Smoother experience in menus navigation than stock 110k4

Youtube addon in xbmc does not cause restart

Colour and brightness look better than stock 110k4

                    Single partition storage

                    Shutdown restart menus

                    Con
My 4k video samples that play smooth using stock 110k4 now not smooth using mx player or spmc but my 4k h265 plays perfect in wasser 2.0.3

Mx player using the stock 110k4 usually gives better result in playing 4k than spmc or kodi but in wasser 2.0.3 they all seems to be the same.

Hopefully this will be fix in the next release

                    Thx wasser for the rom

                        tested the new version now

                        - spmc with PT is now working
                        - my mkv with ac3 work fine with rklib acceleration
                        - my avi files with stereo dont work smooth with rklib but without any lib and software.

Is there a way to get the following kind of avi file working with rk lib?

I updated my device kernel with cpu2000-ddr700-gpu600-beelink-r89.zip file and it seems that it change memory frequency to 528MHz at maximum performance which is 72MHz faster than stock and not access 600MHz.
                          Code:
                          <6>[ 3.612100] ddrfreq: verion 1.2 20140526
                          <6>[ 3.612120] ddrfreq: normal 528MHz video_1080p 528MHz video_4k 528MHz dualview 0MHz idle 0MHz suspend 200MHz reboot 528MHz
                          <6>[ 3.612133] ddrfreq: auto-freq=0
                          <6>[ 3.612144] ddrfreq: auto-freq-table[0] 240MHz
                          <6>[ 3.612155] ddrfreq: auto-freq-table[1] 324MHz

                          <6>[ 3.612175] ddrfreq: auto-freq-table[3] 528MHz
                          <6>[ 3.612185] ddrfreq: auto-freq-table[4] 600MHz
<7>[ 3.613598] ddrfreq: change freq to 528 MHz when normal
Other problem is that it seems that CPU doesn't go beyond 1608MHz no matter what is set in cpufreq DVFS. It is consistent with Oman findings sometime ago that RockChip blocked somewere in kernel frequency transition but kernel reports otherwise: "#define SAFETY_FREQ (1876*6)/7*MHZ".

Fixing all that little stuff is great news, but how's that Xfinity TV Go app comin' along? You get it fixed yet? Keep in mind, it's only the most widely used live streaming tv app used in North America, so not like it's a big deal or anything.

People can only handle watching so much Netflix (SD) and Movies before they get bored.

I was about to ask if the overclock uploads were file changes or if it's a modified kernel, and this seems to indicate file changes?

The reason I was going to ask was to see if this would work with mo123's latest kernel, but from this result it seems some kernel code must be modified as well to get it working?

How about leolas' kernel have you tested this gormar?

Oh, I have another question. If 2ghz OC is working, how can we monitor the actual CPU temp? Every app I have tried for this purpose only reports 2 degrees C and highly doubt this is the CPU temp. Currently using tronsmart r28 meta with mo123 v1.2 with 1.3's kernel.

                              Thanks!

@sawbones999. It is not possible that these update files contain whole kernel. Update overwrite resource partition with Device Tree Blob which describes all device specific variables in kernel 3.10.x.

Leolas "kernel" use exactly same metod. It just reflash resource partition. But he didn't try to OC CPU.

You can check RK3288 SoC temeprature by reading these files: /sys/devices/ff280000.tsadc/temp(0,1,2,3)_input
For example in term emulator execute this command:
                                cat /sys/devices/ff280000.tsadc/temp0_input
