hi i would be using a micro sd card, I ave downloaed the zip and extracted to sd card.just need to know wether this rom would work on my sumvision cyclone x4 . thanks. kezza

Where are you putting the files at and what slot are you using on the device to put the rom on? I recommend an SD card and not a USB stick. There is a slot for an SD card on the device for this. I have never had an issue when doing it this way. Just some thoughts.

I have tried both a sd card and a usb stick in the back of the minix. When I use the sd card it finds nothing and when I use the usb stick I get the failed error message I jus posted. All the necessary files are on the root of the sd card and memory stick so I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Thanx so much for this rom,after numerous times attempting to update with the minix files and methods,
Always getting failed,aborted and wrong footer....... I installed 2.0a and Bang! First time install love it!

I think that Bob was on vacation. I can't wait for him to build an update. Or I should say I am excited that there will be an update. I'm so tired of getting the "OTA update available For download". Bob, is there any way of taking the update notification out of the new build? I check this site daily so I would be well aware of any updates. Just something to ponder on.

I'm not sure I understand what it is that you are saying. This ROM is for the Minix Neo X8 and X8-H. I was unaware that this rom would be compatible with the X8-H+(plus)... I would not try to flash this rom on the newer X8H plus as you may likely brick your device.
I may be wrong on this but I know for a fact that the differences are enough to matter.
