Wow! Thanks for the link! http://forum.odroid.com/viewtopic.php?f=114&t=16093 There was some code posted there that fixes the CEC issue :

"When HDMI inputs are switched...then switched back CEC control is lost".

Just SSH in when CEC control becomes lost and enter this code -

CEC control returns instantly!

Kszaq, If you could implement this in the next build that would be awesome. This has been my only issue in 6 months...loving this MK808b + clone stick

Am I right in thinking we wont have a GPU fix unless we update to Jarvis with OpenELEC 6.95.5.0 - Kodi Jarvis 16.0 Beta5NEW: 09.Jan.16aka the GPU drivers fix, or has this already been implemented by Ksaq in 15.2/6.0.0.1? I can still see graphics tearing in menus although still it seems to run better than 15.1

Good to hear from you and congratulations on the family thing. If I update to the new 6.0.0 build will I be able to use my current backup to get all my addons etc back in place? Cheers and thanks for all your work.

I updated a couple of times and it never affected my skin or addons. Everything is the same as before I updated from 5.95.5.2 to 6.0.0.1, just put the .tar file in the update folder and reboot, that's it.

You should be able to update OpenELEC in place.

Is your build actually a newer version than the one on page 96 from @TheRealJohnGalt?
Is it safe to follow the update method and throw your build over his?

I don't know TheRealJohnGalt's builds but I think you should be able to switch between his and my build without issues.

I know this is off topic, but has anyone had success viewing this thread with tapatalk? for me it seems like its stuck on one page.

I do the same as you, only use my stick for the tvheadend backend. I just installed this new version and tvheadend is working. It took a few minutes for the new tvheadend version to update, and had me worried. After a couple of reboots, my PVR is working great. I don't see any benefits for the newer version of tvheadend yet, perhaps later after I use it more, I will see something different.

The new build does seem better, I'll give a full report in a few days or so. Unfortunately a problem with .avi files still persists, essentially it's tearing. Files seem OK played back on a dvd player supporting .avi so I'm at a loss. Of course this may be a known problem or perhaps it's the TVaddons Linux config wizard that is causing this. The config wizard did seem to originally sort .avi playback but maybe bug fixs in Kodi mean I should set up my system without it. Any ideas?

I was running ver. 5.0.3, because it was the best for me. Anyway with this update, I was losing my tunner connection. I ended up doing a clean install instead of an update. Hope that solves thee problem of losing tunner connection. I never had to reboot mine.

I have attempted to flash the 6.0.0.1 rom to my MXQ Amlogic box and get as far as this screen. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong. I followed the wiki to create an image onto a USB flash using OS X's terminal.

Not sure I'm not that techie but I do it from an SD card, make sure it's not an SDXC as my all black MXQ doesn't like them. Also I had to go through the process of putting certain factory builds on and then the droid player version on before I could install Openelec. Still don't get wifi but I'm working around that.

Screen tearing should be fixed hopefully in next release as it will have the new gpu driver, you might be waiting a while though as there is a lot to do and Ksaq is very busy with family life.
