I just installed the XP drivers that came with it on a small cd and have hooked it up to PC, connection speed registers as 100Mbps but router shows only a 10Mbps light and throughput is about half compared to onboard PC network card.

Might have to spend more than a couple of bucks to get a decent one.

On the plus side, my router is about 1 foot away from my MK808 behind the TV and I have never had wifi issues since installing Finless ROMS's

It says that Supports 12Mbps high speed transmission mode, but in fact people say that speed is limited to 6 mbit..Besides the speed limitation, does it work?

Yeah I don't get more than 6mbit

Aside from the speed issue it is plug and play, very simple, turn of your wifi first, plug in (may need a reboot with it plugged in), turn on ethernet and away you go.

But with my wifi OK it offers no advantage over the 54mbps I am getting over the air

Note: You must hook up to your PC first and download Logitech software to pair the keyboard with the unifying receiver. Then move receiver to your MK802III and surf away.
