Could you add the ability to overclock to 1416 Mhz and add 1080p support. The stock kernel for the MK808-B is here. http://www.mediafire.com/?5woenyu2whuu6k7

When did the 808B drop? it's like less than a month old right? i didn't even realize it had blutooth till after a soso flash experience, jus wondering.

Just wanted to mention that this is my first stick TV and I like it, been waiting for the hardware to get reasonably good before I jumped in, and now I see there is 4x core out there, sigh. lol.

And lastly I was checking out this site and wanted to give props to Finless as it looks like he basically put this site together about a year ago and till nowish it's starting to really grow. and props again to finless for his work in these ROMs soon someday i'll be dev'n I hope, well till then cheers!

Tried to flash this and I just get a blank screen with a bunch of lines, had to go back to stock.

This rom is extremely buggy . The homescreen is spammed with constant lines .

Folks.... this is MADE from the stock ROM. I made NO MAJOR CHANGES that would effect anything like the screen or otherwise. So if this ROM gives an issue then the stock ROM should give the same issues.

As you see many have had no problem with this ROM. So either you do not really have a MK808-B and it's some clone, or your not flashing the ROM properly.

Again.... this is basically the stock ROM rooted with APPs updated. Nothing more.

I got mine off of **** and never seen the site geekbuying before, but o well. So I'm wondering if some one know how to contact the oem to push an OS update, as i feel it's the original rom with the main issues.

I see that bob just cleaned them up of bloat ware and Rooted them.

                    Just wondering.

                      Need some newbie help...

I need help booting my MK808B into Flash Mode. I tried the directions in the ROM package, but never was able to get to the "Found RKAndroid Mass Storage USB" - even with the manual process. I'm sure that USB debugging is turned off, but could never find the option to turn USB Storage off (is it on by default?). Also, the directions say to plug it into the computer with the cable that came with it. The only mini-USB cable that came with mine has a FEMALE USB port on the other end though, which makes it difficult to plug into the female ports on my laptop. So I used a different cable. Could that be a problem? Any ideas? Is it worth the effort to do this now, or should I wait for some update that adds to stock functionality with something major?

I never found the sd storage off feature in settings either, but I did get into flash mode. With the unit off I used a pin into the hole on back and held down the button, then at the same time I used the power cable (that i plugged into the PC) and plugged into the OTG port. Then i let go of button after windows made the sound for finding a device.

It'll get power from either port the OTG or power usb port. For flashing the only relevant port is the OTG.

Then windows detected it, failed, then go to device manager. I hit (win) button and type in computer management or enough of it till it pops up. then go to your failed installed usb device and manually update it's driver.

Trickiest part for it was holding button down while plugging in cable. Hope that helps.

First of all, thanks a lot to Bob for this firmware

But I have to complain too about this rom, I flawlessly flashed my mk808b into this rom and I have a lot of issues with wifi, first of all it seemed to be great because I had 48mb connection with excellent link quality, but after two or three minutes (with 2 or 3 disconnections per minute) it lowered down to 1Mb and rebooted the mini pc...

I'll get back to Stock firmware in order to compare if it's the rom or a hw problem instead, but here is my feedback about my experience.

                          Regards

                          (sorry for my bad english
                          )

                            Issue with Google Play Store

                            Hi Bob,

I have Bluetooth version of MK808 too. I installed this ROM and I am having issues with Play Store. Any idea why?
