1.6 has much more features than my 1.5a and yes Kiz kernel works with it.

As for the boot animation, just make your own.

Same thing happens on my Sony lcd tv...
Tried Kizs 720kernel aswell, without luck.

Sorry if this is in the wrong section.

Can someone give me a clear answer, what is the difference between the otg and the usb connections? I'm using a powered hub and have played with the rii i8 reciever in both, the xbox wireless receiver in both and anything else I can throw at it and they seem to work on all. I've swapped them around, connecting the hub to the otg and then hooking everything up to the hub and it still works, just a bit confused, what should I connect to what for optimal performance?

Missing settings icon with two cogs

Hi,
After flashing the BOB 1.6 ROM, I seemed to be not having settings icon with two cogs (one yellow one white), usually appears along with all the applications installed. I can see only main settings icon (black square/blue border and what looks like slider buttons on it).

Any idea why I am missing this settings? or anybody else having this same issue?

I removed that junk as no one wanted the stock launcher and thus the settings to go with it.
The standard settings icon will give you everything you had in the 2 cog settings menus.

1.6 is a big improvement, speed wise it's way ahead of the last version, thank you so much finless! looking forward to a true 1080p version.

Have better wifi connection

Not sure this is really true but for me it seems to work. I have the computer hanging vertically by the HDMI cable. This gave the best Wifi reception on places where it would not get a proper connection. Maybe it helps that it does not touch anything ?

Maybe more people could verify if this improves the reception ?

Really happy with this ROM installed.

USB ethernet adapter RD9700, how to install driver or some other problem?!

I install 1.6 Bob rom, everything is working very well but I have problem with USB ethernet adapter; model RD9700.

When I connect it in OTG port and turn it on in settings, connection is established but after some times (about 1 minute) everything is frozen.

I try to download something, download start (LED in adapter is blinking) and freeze...

Do I have to make some changes in settings or something other to make adapter correct working?

Webcam support?

Hi Bob,

I can't seem to be able to connect my webcam after installing 1.6 even though the webcam I choose was reported to be working with 1.5a. Was there a change in drivers in the new build?

I know that you must be busy with tons of requests but I haven't had much success in getting this solved. Hopefully you get a chance to do see through this.

Hi all!

Just got my mk808 today and already flashed Finless.

But i'm having some issues. When I use HW decoding on a mkv file I get some artifacts and purple tinting. The same does not appear when using software.

I don't think this happened on the original firmware nor on the latest oficial (10/1/2013 I think). But the reason I'm using your rom is that it's the only I've tried that manages do wake up the mk808 from sleep after a few minutes.

Using the original firmware (don't know if it has something to do with the 1080p patch that it includes) if I press standby on my flyremote i can only wake the mk808 for a few minutes. If its stays 30m on sleep i can't wake it anymore. Using Finless it woke up after 1 hour

Any thoughts?
